The Sydney Markets are a commercial enterprise in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Sydney Markets are located in the Inner West suburb of Flemington, 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Strathfield. The market is the primary delivery service of these products for Sydney. The market has a wholesale sales section that caters to larger business and general sales to the public. The market is the central marketplace for Sydney's farmers to sell their products. It has a history dating back to 1788.[1]
Sydney Markets feature a number of divisions including Produce, Flowers, Growers, Fresh Food, Motor, Swap & Sell, Paddy's Markets and Sydney Markets Plaza.[2]

the market is situated under Market City Shopping Centre right next to Chinatown. The store holders mainly sell new imported goods ranging from kids, adults clothing , music, DVD, technology, toys, jewellery, homeware tools and if you have friends from overseas its great for Australian souvenirs all at a bargain hunters price, dont forget to haggle. You can also get Fresh fruit , Vegetables and seafood there so bring your Grandma trolley with you. Best get there by public transport or there is plenty of parking stations around, weekend being the cheapest to park. Make a day of it and head off to Chinatown for a meal, and back into Market City for some Factory direct sales. Take the kids up stairs to the amusement centre and play the latest games and win some prizes. Enjoy your day.
