Paguriran Island and Lagoon | Sorsogon, Philippines

First of all, I want to thank you because you clicked my video!

Anyways, here's my short video of my travel with my friends!

To add a little info about this island,

This island is located in Bacon, Sorsogon. You can reach this lagoon even by walking or swimming towards it! When it's low-tide, you will see a small path or sand bar heading to it. By the time i took this video, it's not that super low-tide that's why my friend can jump from the cliff. You really have to be careful because the rocks are sharp! You have to wear your aqua shoes or slippers to enjoy there. I enjoyed swimming there but for me, the resort along the Sawangga Beach was crowded! Some plastics are floating near the shore. The cottages are too close to each other where you can really see/hear what's happening to your neighbor.

The island/lagoon was beautiful and pure. You can see some fishes swimming there. You will see the beauty when you're at the top of the cliff. You can also take an instagrammable pictures there.

All in all, I enjoyed staying there with my friends!

Paguriran Island is located in Sawanga Beach in the northern part of Bacon- is a district of Sorsogon City. It is actually just a rock islet off the mainland connected by a sandbar.

Sorsogon: Pink Sand Subic Beach, Tikling Island, Juag Lagoon | Sony a6500 GoPro Hero5 DJI Mavic Pro

Sorsogon is the southernmost province in Luzon, Philippines. We went island hopping in Calintaan and Tikling. Subic Beach was everything we heard it would be, and more. Also found some hidden gems in the towns of Bulusan and Barcelona. We explored the biggest AF mangrove forest we’ve ever seen in the town of Prieto Diaz, with a beautiful sandbar as its finishing touch. The 14-hour drive from Manila was worth it. Glad I brought my drone. Enjoy the video! Cheers!

A rocky island a few meters from a beach in Bacon, Sorsogon where there is a lagoon inside. The water inside the lagoon is constantly refreshed by the sea waves that go in from the outside.

Paguriran island Lagoon, Sawanga Sorsogon

Mark's family brought us to Paguriran island lagoon. It was the first beach we visited in Philippines and it was gorgeous. It was so isolated, and we were only 2 other tourist there. At some point we had the island all to ourselves. There were also starfishes, sea urchins, small fishes and so much more in small pools because of the low tide. It was absolutely gorgeous.

It's in Barangay Sawanga in Sorsogon, Philippines. Normally during high tide people would have to walk through water above the waist to get to the island with the lagoon. When we arrived, it was low tide and we walked on land to get to the island. It does have a rocky shore, and because of the low tide there was little water in the lagoon.

Paguriran Island and Lagoon Travel Vlog

Another beautiful beach to visit in the Province of Sorsogon is Paguriran Island and Lagoon located at Sawanga Beach, Barangay Bacon, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon.

From Sorsogon City, go to the jeep terminal (near SM Savemore) and inform the driver that you are going to Barangay Sawanga, Bacon or rent a tricycle going to Paguriran Island and Lagoon.

Entrance fee is between P5-P20 per person and parking fee P40.
Just be mindful of the blue bottle jelly fish that may be brought by the tide into the lagoon.
