Chiang Mai & Pai: Thailand Backpacking Route
Two of our favourite places in Thailand.
Chiang Mai is a beautiful city located in Northern Thailand. The people here are so nice and you definitely won't break the bank staying. Double rooms with a fan are $5.00!
You have to visit Pai as well. A 3 hour bus ride ($3.50) through the mountains will lead you to a cool hippie town. Make sure to take some gravol if you get carsick easily. The vibe here is really chill.
We stayed at the Piranha Fishing Park located just 10 minute out of town. A nice quiet stay with good wifi and motorbike rental to get into town and explore the surrounding waterfalls, hot springs, and sights.
