Thailand - 04 - Hua Hin 4 - Khao Tao Temple - Pak Nam Pram - Thaao Ko Sa Forrest Park / 2011
Hua Hin Southside. Hier ligt de Khao Tao Temple. Ook bekend als de Turtle temple. Mooi locatie, boven de zee. Iets verder gelegen vinden we Pak Nam Pram. Leuk vissersplaatsje, waar de inktvis in grote getale ligt te drogen op rekken aan het strand. Nog een klein stukje zuidwaarts, mooi park. Het Thaao Ko Sa Forrest Park, direct aan de zee.
PAK NAM MARKET | Pak Nam Market Pier In Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
Pak Nam market is a market that is sitting right by the Pak Nam Ferry Market Pier in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand.
This is actually a quite interesting and big market. Technically it is 3 different markets combined into one big market.
First, you have the Pak Nam Market, which sells clothes, utensils, and other household needs.
It then turns into a Pak Nam Fresh Market, where they sell all the meat and produce. But from what I saw, it mainly looks like all seafood. Which makes sense because this market is right by the harbor. So you'll definitely be able to get your hands on some fresh seafood and for cheap also.
Then right by the Pak Nam Fresh Market is Samut Prakan Market. Here you will find all your herbs and vegetables.
So this is the only place you'll need to go if you need to so do some grocery shopping in Pak Nam.
These markets are about 10-15min walk from Pak Nam BTS Station. Once you get off the BTS station, just head south and walk along Prakhon Chai Rd.
Prakhon Chai Rd will turn into Sri Samut Rd, keep following the road until you see Tharuea Vibun Si 2.
Turn right into that street and walk straight to the end and the market should be right in front of you.
Good luck & safe travels!

Stunning 4 Bedroom Balinese Pool Villa with Lake in Pranburi *REDUCED* - Pranburi
Balinese style 4 bed pool villa with lake on Hana Village, Pranburi near Hua Hin for sale, reduced by 1,500,000 THB January 2015.
This property features a large front garden with maids quarters and covered parking and a large Balinese entrance that opens to a breathtaking view of the open terrace area with free-form Jacuzzi flowing through a conduit to the big pool overlooking a serene lily pond which in turn looks onto the Nong Yai wetlands and Khao Kalok mountain. This Hana home really has the WOW factor as soon as you enter.
The right wing of the property is a very spacious living and dining room with full western kitchen with substantial island and care has gone into ensuring many large windows let in natural light and breezes. Behind this great social area is a media room which could have several other uses – office, guestroom, etc. There is also a guest bathroom here.
The left wing of the property has 3 en-suite bedrooms all with unique feature walls and a master bedroom which overlooks the great views of the pool, lake and garden.
Another outdoor social area is the sala which sits on the lake making a perfect spot in the evenings to relax and enjoy nature. Note that lakes in Hana Village are planted fish that eat mosquito larvae, which actually reduced the mosquito population in the area.
The use of high quality natural materials throughout and the great upkeep give this home a real tropical Balinese feel that matched with the views and breeze make it a real gem of a home.
The layout and location of this property is such that as well as a perfect residential home, it could also make an interesting boutique B&B, guesthouse or rental property.
Pranburi beach is only 1.5KM away, Pranburi town 9KM, Pak Nam Pran town 5KM and Hua Hin 30KM. The location is convenient to Tesco, Makro, numerous fresh markets, restaurants, bars and top-end resorts as well as Sam Roi Yot national Park, Dolphin Bay, Khao Kalok and several other beautiful beaches waiting to be explored.

THAI STREET RESTAURANTS | Pak Nam, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
I discovered some Thai Street Restaurants around Pan Nam, Samut Prakan Province in Thailand.
I was walking beyond the main areas of Pak Nam along Sai Luat Road and I saw these two makeshift restaurants being set up. I crossed over to the other side, cause there wasn't much happening on the side I was walking along.
Once I crossed over to take a better look at the restaurants, I was really surprised to see the interesting dining experience that was on offer.
The first restaurant I came across was a sit on the floor type of dining experience, which you don't often see these days.
And the second restaurant I came across had and clever improvised lighting system.
Both restaurants looked great and I will definitely come back and try both these restaurants out.
