Gang Rivals Try To Run Each Other Down In City Centre Clash
A golf club-wielding teen who launched a vicious attack in Newcastle city centre has been spared jail.
Trouble started when rival gang members crossed paths outside a nightclub.
Wood brings the vehicle to a stop and then drives towards Crouth, who steps away, strikes the front of the Corsa with the golf club, then runs off up the road.
Wood of Deneside, Seghill, Northumberland, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and affray.
He was given a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and was banned from driving for 12 months.
Crouth, of Barrasford Road, Cramlington, Northumberland, pleaded guilty to affray and was given 16 weeks suspended for 12 months.
Langlands, 24, of Cambo Drive, Cramlington, was convicted of careless driving but cleared of dangerous driving and affray.
He was fined £300 and was given seven penalty points on his licence.
Two members of Wood's group, Jamie Douglas, 22, of Eastgate, Choppington, Northumberland, and Sandy Burns, 20, of Beech Avenue, Cramlington, also pleaded guilty to affray but were said to be on the periphery of the incident.
Douglas was given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work while Burns was given a conditional discharge and must pay £50 costs.
John Wilkinson, for Wood, said there had been trouble between him and Crouth in the past and he'd given witness statements to the police about other ncidents.
Robert Adams, for Crouth, said: He was 17 at the time and it was a long-standing dispute between him and Wood which had been going on for three years.
Robin Denny, for Langlands, said he was a painter and decorator and that trouble had come to him.
The court heard Burns hopes to join the RAF and Douglas has never been in trouble before.
Passing sentence, Judge James Goss QC, told them: There was an ugly episode of violence outside a nightclub where up to a thousand people had ended up in the street.
It was a serious incident and people could have been badly injured by what took place.
When members of the general public see violence such as this they are often genuinely upset and frightened and it causes enormous concern.

10. $6000 Cash
Hotel stays can often get very expensive, but for one visitor to the Miami International Airport Hotel, it could have cost far more than they imagined… if it weren’t for the honesty of one of the maids there.
9. Knives
In 2018, Natasha Connor, from Northern Ireland, had booked a stay at the Park Hotel, near Buckingham Palace, for her daughter’s Christmas present. Upon checking in, they were disgusted at the state of their room, but their biggest shock was still to come.
8. Teddy Bear
In early 2019, Ann Pickard visited Hawaii with her son Doozer but, by the time they had checked out and returned home, it was too late to realize they had left their son's beloved teddy bear in the room. Devastated, she contacted the Grand Hyatt Kauai to ask if the bear had been found- knowing there was slim hope that they would ever see it again.
7. Soiled Clothes
If you were to think of the worst things you’d want to find in a hotel room, then soiled clothes are probably close to the top of your list. Well, that’s what a couple found in 2018 when they checked into the Adelphi hotel in Liverpool, England.
6. Evidence of an Escape
When you visit a hotel, it’s meant to be a luxurious experience where you feel comfortable spending as much time in the room as you need, while taking in your surroundings. Flight attendants rarely get the chance to enjoy the places they visit, though, and the rooms become a welcome retreat as they prepare for their next flight.
5. Dogs
Police in Alberta, Canada, received complaints of s suspicious looking woman in July of 2018 and arrested her in a hotel on suspicion of a variety of offenses- including the possession of dogs when she had been ordered by a court to not have any animals because of previous mistreatment.
4. WW2 Mince Pies
In 2018, during a renovation of the Loch hotel in Douglas, on the Isle of Man in the UK, a box of mince pies was found under the floorboards. For those who don’t know what they are- mince pies are a traditional Christmas pastry that’s eaten in the UK, which funnily enough doesn’t contain meat. They are made with a mixture of dried fruits and spices.
3. Sea Turtles
In the summer of 2018, two tourists from Kentucky were visiting Tybee Island, Georgia, when they were caught doing the unthinkable. They were staying at the Admiral’s Inn where a housekeeper went into their room and found a trash can filled with water, containing 6 baby loggerhead sea turtles. Authorities were immediately called, and the couple said they had been drinking when they saw the turtles struggling and wanted to protect them.
2. A Lab
In February of 2018, a fire broke out on the 44th floor of the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. Police and firefighters responded to the incident where the fire was contained to one room and extinguished. The problem, they realized, was that the fire hadn't been caused by typical hotel room antics- someone was using it as a lab. Seriously??
1. Body
Top of the list of incredible things found in hotel rooms, and top of the list of things you would never want to find in a hotel room- is a body. This actually happens a lot, with police regularly being called to establishments around the world to investigate missing guests- only to find that their lives ended during their visit… but there’s one story that’s not so common, and far more horrifying.

DA-NOTICE NEWS BLACKOUT - MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA EXTRACTS: I
The sensational Carroll Foundation Trust multi-billion dollar offshore tax fraud bribery scandal has disclosed that the Federation of Small Businesses have been named in the explosive FBI Scotland Yard criminal standard of proof prosecution files in this case of international importance.
Sources have confirmed that the Federation of Small Businesses is facing major criminal allegations of conspiracy to defraud racketeering and bribery surrounding the co-ordinated fraudulent seizure of the Carroll Foundation Trust's Carroll House which is the Carroll Global Corporation's worldwide headquarters based at 2-6 Catherine Place Westminster London close to Buckingham Palace and Scotland Yard.
It has emerged in media reports that Scotland Yard and the Surrey Police are targeting Anthony Richard Clarke Chairman of the Business Angels Association and the Angel Capital Group based in a small suite of offices at 100 Pall Mall London close to the Federation of Small Businesses currently based at Carroll House.
Further sources have confirmed that Anthony Clarke in his previous capacity as the Chief Executive of the Carroll Global Corporation for nearly twenty years incorporated a startling array of twenty eight fraudulent UK Companies House registered Carroll Trust Corporations for the embezzlement of a mind boggling two hundred million dollars of the Carroll Foundation Trust 's huge treasury investment holdings which were held at Barclays International and the Queen's bankers Coutts & Co London.
UK Companies House leaked sources have disclosed that Anthony Clarke also incorporated a further shell company known as Clarke Capital Corporation Ltd. in 1996/1997 which was then dissolved in 2007/8 in a further bungled attempt to continue to provide a further corporate smokescreen for this masi9ve City of London bank fraud spanning three continents.
DA-NOTICE NEWS BLACKOUT - MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA EXTRACTS: II
The Carroll Foundation Trust and parallel Carroll Maryland Trust multi-billion dollar offshore tax fraud bribery scandal has recently disclosed that Gerald Carroll’s Farnborough Aerospace Development Plc and Carroll Aircraft Corporation Plc group structures were “centered around” HM Ministry of Defence high level officials and Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary chairmen in this case of international importance.
Sources have revealed that the sudden death of a HM Ministry of Defence retired Permanent Secretary who was Chairman of the Carroll Aircraft Corporation is fueling feverish speculation that his demise was actually cold blooded murder in a bungled attempt to cover-up the criminal liquidation of major operating divisions of the Carroll Global Corporation’s worldwide interests spanning an incredible sixteen years.
Further sources have revealed that Gerald Carroll’s Farnborough Aerospace Aerospace Centre in Hampshire England was “targeted” by BAE Systems and HSBC International within the framework of a systematic break-up embezzlement operation which effectively was impulsed by the fraudulent incorporation of UK Companies House “parallel registered” Farnborough Aerospace Development Corporation Plc Strategic Research & Development Corporation Plc and Carroll Aircraft Corporation Plc group structures.
Scotland Yard “leaked” sources have disclosed that the Carroll Foundation Trust criminal “standard of proof” prosecution files contain forensic specimen exhibits of fraudulently incorporated HSBC International offshore accounts Barclays International offshore accounts and Coutts & Co Gerald Carroll accounts which embezzled a staggering two hundred million dollars of the Carroll Foundation Trust’s huge treasury investment holdings.
This source also said that the dossiers contain forensic specimen exhibits of the co-ordinated break-ins burglaries theft and criminal seizure offences that were “targeted” at Gerald Carroll’s multi-million dollar Eaton Square Belgravia penthouse and Westminster residences following a complete refusal by the Metropolitan Police to provide assistance covering a bizarre six to eight years.
The Carroll Foundation Trust files are held within a complete lockdown at the FBI Washington DC field office and the Metropolitan Police Scotland Yard London under the supervision of the Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe who has an intimate knowledge of this case which stretches the globe.
