The Palace Cinema Longridge Christmas Ad 2019
The Palace Cinema Longridge is one of the oldest cinemas in the UK. This year we decided to make our own Christmas ad to celebrate its history and its place at the heart of our community. The film was made with local people offering their time, their vintage cars, their music and sound design. We hope you enjoy it and come visit us one day.

Exploring The UK's LAST EVER ABC Cinema
Todays we explore an abandoned ABC cinema the last one to close down in the Uk. Also we find loads of crazy stuff left inside this could also be one of the best explores this year for me.
History
Cinema was built for and operated by Associated British Cinemas(ABC), and was designed by their ‘in-house’ architect William Riddle Glen. It opened on 19th June 1937 with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Shall We Dance.
On 31st May 1951, the World Premiere of the British musical film Happy Go Lovely starring Vera Ellen & David Niven was held at the Westover Cinema. The premiere was attended by film stars Bebe Daniels, Ben Lyon, Googie Withers and music hall artist George Robey. Also in 1951, the UK Premiere of the MGM film Showboat starring Howard Keel was held here. In March 1958, the ? Cinema was re-named ABC. They closed the ABC on 4th January 2017 with a special screening of “Back to the Future”.

Exploring an ABANDONED RETRO CINEMA Built in 1930's UK
This time we go exploring an abandoned retro cinema in the UK, first built in the 1930's and then later converted into a bingo hall. The building has been abandoned and left to decay for over 10 years, and it has decayed fast. The roof has gone but the building is apparently structurally sound and the new owners are selling the place for a modest £45k. Use the code ATA for a 10% discount when purchasing ;)

Old Cinema To Reopen? THE NEW VICTORIA ACTION GROUP
Old Cinema To Reopen?
7.00PM Wed May 19 2010
A campaign's been launched to get one of the region's traditional cinemas reopened. The Preston Odeon opened as the New Victoria in 1928 and showed some of the greatest films in cinema history. When it closed, nearly 20 years ago, the building quickly fell into disrepair. Now it's up for sale - and campaigners want to buy it for future generations.

London Fields (2018)-Full Movie
London Fields is a 2018 mystery thriller film directed by Mathew Cullen with a screenplay by Roberta Hanley and Martin Amis, based on the 1989 novel of the same name by Amis. The film stars Billy Bob Thornton as Samson Young, a terminally ill writer who has suffered from writer's block for 20 years. The cast also includes Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess, Theo James, Cara Delevingne and Jaimie Alexander.
It was selected to be screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, but it was later pulled from the festival roster after director Mathew Cullen sued the film's producers, accusing them of fraud and using his name to promote a cut of the film he does not support. After the producers reached a settlement with Heard in a separate lawsuit, London Fields was released theatrically in the United States on 26 October 2018.
