I am one of 14 Aussies who has footage in the Life in a Day film, over 80,000 submissions were sent into the Life in a Day project and some of my footage has been used in the film, so I'm very excited that the film is coming to Australia and is showing in Brisbane as I know more I will pass it on

CARELESS LOVE tells the story of Linh (Nammi Le), a Vietnamese Australian university student who secretly starts part-time work as an escort. She develops a close rapport with one of her clients, an enigmatic American art dealer (Peter O'Brien), who books her on a regular basis. For a time she manages to keep her two lives in separate compartments. But when she falls for a fellow student (Andrew Hazzard) her worlds collide and things get complicated.

Anthony Buckley on the Chauvel filmmaking legacy
Anthony Buckley AM speaks at the Ken G Hall Film Preservation Award ceremony at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney, on 27 November 2012.
Mr. Buckley speaks about the Chauvel filmmaking legacy and its important to Australian cinema, and the challenges faced by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia.
The NFSA chose Sue Carlsson, daughter of filmmakers Charles and Elsa Chauvel, as the recipient of the Ken G Hall Film Preservation Award for her commitment and active engagement with the archive to preserve, research, and exploit the Chauvel family history in film.

PaintScaping created a beautiful and moving mapping tribute for Henry Segerstrom, at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, in Orange County, CA, in honor of its founder.
Under the creative direction of our client Baruch/Gayton, we mapped the huge organ structure in the back of the massive space.
A huge thank you to the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.
Elizabeth Segerstrom, Henry's wife, and Placido Domingo, among others, were in the audience.
Segerstrom Center for the Arts, originally called Orange County Performing Arts Center, is a performing arts complex located in Costa Mesa, California, United States, which opened in 1986.

The Royal Opera House Live Cinema Season 2013/14 gets off to a dramatic start with the return of Puccini's musically sublime final opera Turandot -- a tale of disguised identities, riddles, ritual executions and powerful, triumphant love. Andrei Serban's production of this dark Oriental fairytale is spectacular, with Sally Jacobs's magnificent sets and elaborate masks, and costumes inspired by traditional Chinese theatre. One of the greatest Turandot singers today, Lise Lindstrom, makes her Royal Opera debut, with Marco Berti, a wonderful Puccinian singer, in the role of Prince Calaf.
