The new South Korean president's debut at the Eastern Economic Forum. Delivering a keynote speech, President Moon rolls out his new Look North for economic development policy.
(Korean) Russia's Far East is where Russia's Look East and our Look North policies meet. . South Korea is the most apt partner for Russia in its development of the Far East and the premise of our Look North for development of the northern territory policy is our two countries' cooperation. , . I plan to take an active role in developing Russia's Far East. .
He laid out various areas of cooperation between the two countries such as fifteen LNG-fueled Russian icebreakers being built at South Korean shipyards and boosting South Korea's role in development projects of Russia's abundant natural energy resources.
