Niue is a small island nation in the South Pacific Ocean. It’s known for its limestone cliffs and coral-reef dive sites. Migrating whales swim in Niue's waters between July and October. In the southeast is the Huvalu Forest Conservation Area, where trails through fossilized coral forests lead to the Togo and Vaikona chasms. The northwest is home to the rock pools of Avaiki Cave and the naturally formed Talava Arches.

Alofi is the capital of Niue.
The island nation of Niue sits by itself in the South Pacific Ocean about 1,500 miles from New Zealand. It consists of a large coral atoll inhabited by about 1,500 souls, who hold dual citizenship with New Zealand, and speak both English and Nuiean. Nearly half of them live in the capital, Alofi. Activities for visitors are focused around the natural environment, swimming and snorkeling in the clear seas, exploring the many caves that honeycomb the limestone island, whale watching and fishing, and golf on the resort courses.

NIUE, EXPLORING the stunning CAVES & STALACTITES of ULUPAKA, great views of the PACIFIC OCEAN ????
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the spectacular island nation of NIUE in the Pacific Ocean and let's visit the spectacular Ulupaka cave which is located 800m south of Lakepa village and which appears to have been used as a traditional dwelling place. It's filled with a vast array of limestone formations - great clusters of stalactites and stalagmites, huge pillar formations where they have joined and giant stone curtains draped from the ceiling.
Niue’s coastline is punctuated by literally hundreds of magnificent caves and chasms. All are unique and some, where the sea no longer invades, are used for the storage of canoes while others have been used as ancient burial places or homes in the past. Many are still being formed, with stalagmites and stalactites in all stages of formation.
