One rainy afternoon we visited the Palau Aquarium in Koror. It is partially outside and we enjoyed learning about the creatures of the area.
During our stay we enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with Sam's Tours and SCUBA diving with NECO Marine. A bucket list highlight was to swim in Jellyfish Lake and to see and stay in the Rock Islands.

GT Staff team bonding at Palau
It was a fun team bonding session for GT Staff. They visited Palau International Coral Reef Center where they learned about the conservation efforts of the coral reef in Palau. The staff also visited Rock Island which compromises of a small collection of ancient relics of coral reefs that violently surfaced to form Islands in Palau's Southern Lagoon. After which they visited another one of the beautiful chain of islands known as the Milky Way, filled with white limestone and pristine clear turquoise water. The water in this island is known for its therapeutic healing properties. Everyone was in awed by the ravishing beauty of this island that they all started jumping into the open water. They also went snorkeling and fishing where they had an up close and personal experience with unspoilt coast with abundant marine life.
They caught a lot of fishes for their lunch. Everyone had a jolly good experience in Palau, it gave them a chance to bond and an opportunity to get to know fellow colleagues beyond the corporate landscape which helps to uphold the cohesive GT Culture.

Here we feature Tom Watson and his sons Billy and Tommy on their giant clam farm in the Republic of Palau. Tom is one of Palau's original giant clam farmers and a long-time employee of the MMDC Giant Clam Hatchery. The clams produced by the Watsons are 100% Captive Bred with no harm to the natural environment. This represents a sustainable, renewable approach to supplying reef organisms to the marine aquarium trade.

Intro to Palau.
A quick intro to my arrival in Palau, which has a population of approximately 28,000 in 16 States. Koror is the most populous island in the Republic of Palau and located 540 miles south east of the Philippines. My trip here is for scuba diving but I had the opportunity to not only dive but also visit Peleliu Island, where one of the bloodiest battles of WWII took place in the Pacific.
