Palm Meadows Golf Course Gold Coast Australia
My husband recently changed golf course membership to this beautiful one at Carrara, Palm Meadows Golf Course. There is a river flowing through and small lakes everywhere, one with a spouting fountain in the middle. Plenty of wildlife too, including black swans and magpie geese.
If you're looking for a game on the Gold Coast, I would recommend staying at Mercure Radisson Resort and playing here. I walk to the resort, which is next door, after my constitutional of 9 holes. Free wifi so I get lots done there, plus delicious lunch and coffee.

Palm Meadows Golf Course : 18th in Top 500 Holes
The 18th Hole at Palm Meadows Golf Course, Carrara, Queensland, Australia has been recognised for its beauty and design.
Golf Magazine designated it as one of the Top 500 Holes worldwide.
It was nominated by Curtis Strange, 2 times winner of the US Open.
I recorded this video on a really overcast day, so I will do it again one day when it's sunny and clear.

Palm Meadows
Palm Meadows Golf Course at Carrara on the Gold Coast is centrally located within 10 minutes drive of Surfers Paradise and five minutes from Broadbeach. Palm Meadows welcomes golfers of all standards. Patrons may utilise all facilities including the clubhouse, function rooms and Lakeview Restaurant.

Palm Meadows’ signature hole is the world famous 18th; it measures 523 metres from the championship tees. Players accept the challenge and decide how much of the right dogleg they want to cut off. American Golf Digest rated Palm Meadows 18th in the world’s top 500 golf holes.
