Mt hallifax is approximately 1060metres high situated just north of Townsville in the Paluma range National park near Rollingstone in Queensland Australia. It is here that a small group of men have carved a path (over a number of years) to the top of the mountain and on to Paluma. This track was used as a training ground for their eventual walk over the Kokoda track in New Guinea
