I shot this vlog of Panambur Beach ( पानाम्बुर समुद्र तट ). It is a beach in the city of Mangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka. There was cool atmosphere. The atmosphere , facilities , were good. Sea food was delicious. We can visit different stalls and buy things needed on the beach. people were surfing there and we could see yatch standing. some were boating,and people enjoying the high tides.
I was on Mangalore tour and visited and shot the Mangalore video of this one of the best & beautiful Tourist places in Mangalore city . Panambur beach located near Surathkal near Mangalore is the best beach to spend evening with the family witnessing the beautiful sunset.
Panambur Beach in Mangalore, Karnataka
People visit Panambur beach on the Arabian Sea in Mangalore, Karnataka. Adventure sports like Jet ski are also available on this beach.
This beach is on the shores of Arabian sea and is credited as one of the safest and best maintained beaches of India.[1] It is the most popular, well connected and most visited beach of coastal Karnataka.[2]
The beach is located in the place called Panambur 10 km north of the City center [3] which comes under the administration of Mangalore City Corporation.
As of now this beach is maintained by a private enterprise under the banner of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project. Other attractions include jet ski rides, boating, dolphin viewing, food stalls and is also known for its highly skilled and trained lifeguards who patrol the beach to ensure visitor safety.
This beach has been popular for its picturesque sunsets, the beautiful port area and a picnic spot for tourists and locals alike and offers very good views of the sunset. The beach attracts good number of visitors due to its close proximity to the city. The ships anchored out in the sea waiting for berth in the harbor can be seen from the Beach which presents an attractive picture.

Panambur beach is located adjacent to Mangalore Port.
Swimming was prohibited during September 2019. Don't know if swimming is allowed ever.
Regarding food: Most of the shops sold chat items & corn. Few shops sold fish/ chicken items, but was too expensive & oily.

Panambur beach is 10 km (6.2 mi) from Mangalore and near the harbour at Panambur. It is the most popular, well connected and most visited beach of coastal Karnataka. It has many eateries, lifeguards, boat rides, etc. Beach festivals are occasionally organized here.

There is a Nandaneshwara temple in Panambur. The sea port is near to Surathkal railway station on the Mumbai-Mangalore railway route.

It's rare that I come across a truly authentic beach in my travels, but that's what happened when I visited little-known Panambur beach, outside Mangalore in India. There were no tourists, just lots of locals enjoying the glorious stretch of golden sand. And while in India you've got to have a rickshaw ride...!
