University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors vs. Panasonic Trians, Osaka
On its first trip to Asia, the UH men's basketball team traveled to China and Japan in Aug. 2011 to play several practice games. On Aug. 20, 2011, they played a practice game against Panasonic Trians at the Panasonic Arena in Hirakata, Osaka, Japan. Panasonic is one of the pro teams in the Japan Basketball League (JBL). 万博記念公園の太陽の塔の内部見学にいきました。48年ぶりの公開だそうです。
改めて岡本太郎氏の偉大さを感じました。当然とはいえ内部は撮影禁止なのは残念でした。
入場まで時間があったので近くのルピナスを見にいきました。時期が少し過ぎているせいもありますが、花の数が少なくなっていました。
BGMは珍しく女性ボーカルです。歌詞は架空言語で意味を持たない言葉らしいですが、花たちのささやきに見立て採用してみました。
