We went to Panshet for our weekend trip.It is only 40 kms from Pune.
It is a great destination for fun weekends in rainy season. We recommend a bike trip. Panshet dam pune is best to visit with best buddies and yes not the dam but our emotions at pune dam burst. There is a lot of thing to do there such as panshet boat club, panshet water park and see panshet waterfal. l It was a lot of fun. Here's a video of this trip!

Varasgaon Dam - Varasgaon is a dam on the Mose river which supplies water to city of Pune, Maharashtra, India. It is situated on Mose river. It is also called Veer Baaji Pasalkar Dam. It is one of the three major dams which provide water to Pune city. It is located around 40 km from Pune city. The Panshet dam is adjacent to Varasgaon dam, and together both have become a popular picnic spots. During the monsoon or just after monsoon the hills around are lush green with plenty of waterfall. Water sports are also played in this dam.
About Panshet
According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Panshet village is 556557. Panshet village is located in Velhe Tehsil of Pune district in Maharashtra, India. It is situated 20km away from sub-district headquarter Velhe and 45km away from district headquarter Pune. As per 2009 stats, Kuran Kh is the gram panchayat of Panshet village. The total geographical area of village is 89 hectares. Panshet has a total population of 1,570 peoples. There are about 348 houses in Panshet village. Pune is nearest town to Panshet which is approximately 42km away.

Hello guys we are back with a new video.In this we did kayaking for the first time and it was a really great experience. Currently, its a summer time and India being a tropical Country , Temperature rises to 42 degrees during summer. So, weekend trips to beach destinations or water parks is must. Instead of going to water park, we decided to go to panshet dam for boating. overall it was a great experience and all of us had great day.
If you are thinking of a weekend getaway or a one day trip near pune during summer, You must visit this place.

Panshet is 45 KM from Pune. The way towards the village is so beautiful that you will fall in love with the view. River goes by the road side. Area is covered by hills and greenery.
