Wrecks near New Providence Island, Bahamas
While filming an episode on sponges off New Providence Island, Bahamas, the Changing Seas crew and scientific research team happened upon two shipwrecks that were close to each other. These wrecks made for a great dive site, with some sponges encrusting the exterior of the ships. Does anyone know the names of these wrecks?

The Islands of the Bahamas
Website Booking : checkincaribbean.com
No one can say for sure exactly how many islands are in The Islands of The Bahamas, particularly if you factor in those tiny spits of sand that magically appear with falling tides. But best guesses put the count at about 700 islands spread out over nearly 100,000 square miles of ocean.
Yes, there's a whole lot of territory to cover. That's why most visitors tend to pinpoint a single island or island group to while away their leisure time. You'll hear the term Out Islands used a lot, along with Family Islands. They refer to all of the islands except New Providence, home to Nassau and Paradise Island, and Grand Bahama Island, home to Freeport.
Those visitors intent on hitting as many Bahamian islands as possible have a variety of options. From Nassau, there are flights on Bahamasair, the National Flag Carrier, and small commercial planes to many of the island centers. It's also easy enough to charter a plane. For those with plenty of time to spare, traveling on a mail boat is inexpensive and a great way to meet the locals. A swifter option is a high-speed ferry. Perhaps the most idyllic route is aboard a chartered sailboat or motorboat. In Marsh Harbor on Great Abaco, a number of bare-boat charters rent yachts. You can hire a captain, and even a cook, to make the trip with you.
Entertainment available includes - Nightclubs. Discos. Casinos. Cabarets. Theater. Cinema. Live music.

Destiny's Day of Paradise and New Providence
The Carnival Destiny is docked in the Bahamian capital city of Nassau on October 21, 2008. Harbored between New Providence Island and Paradise Island, the Destiny finds company at the port from fellow cruise ships the Disney Wonder, Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas, Carnival Fascination, and Carnival Sensation, as well as the Royal Bahamas Defense Force Offshore Patrol Vessel, HMBS Bahamas. We ride a water taxi from the port to Paradise Island, and our guide, Slim, entertains us with a little sightseeing tour. Find out the cheapest price for a piece of Paradise Island real estate. Next we find ourselves In Paradisum at the 14th-century French Cloister and Versailles Gardens. Of course, we find the lost city of Atlantis in all her grandiose glory, along with another Destiny. Then it is back aboard the real Destiny where we note three icons of the cruise industry dominating the Nassau skyline. Destiny then bids her smaller neighbors farewell as we are the first of the ships to pull out of the port. As we leave the islands we find rough surf crashing into the lighthouse at the harbor's entrance.

Bahamas Beach Wedding Ceremony
17 minutes - Jamie & Shane's Wedding Ceremony - May 26, 2011. This was on day 3 of a 4 day Bahamas cruise on Cabbage Beach, on the North Side of Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Nassau, Bahamas.
INFO - some have asked for the officiants name:
Matthew Sweeting
islandpreachaweddings.com
The processional was shot by on Hi-8 a family member. The main part of the ceremony was shot in HD on a SAMSUNG TL225 consumer camera. You can see it sitting in the HI-8 footage of the processional, mounted on a Joby Gorillapod. I was surprised at how nice the footage from that teeny little camera looks! It did well there in the bright daylight - not so well in low light indoor situations. And the onboard audio just dropped out completely on longer clips. Good thing the groom was wearing a lav connnected to an iRiver for an independent audio source... or I would have had no audio for much of the ceremony.
