After reluctantly hiking up to King Eddy (lower launch) in the late afternoon we were rewarded with perfect ridge soaring and glass-off conditions (sorta, it was super buoyant) for about an hour long scenic flight. Good times had by all.

For gliders looking for thermals or 'updrafts' of warm air that enable them to fly for hours and range over wide distances, Golden has it all.
Mount 7 was host to the National Paragliding Championship in the summer of 2007. The extraordinary 145 kilometre flight was recently described in the prominent glider magazine Cross Country as one of the top, classic cross-country flights of all time. In fact, eight world records for distance and time have been set from the launch at Mount 7.

Paramotoring in Kelowna, B.C. Flew to Okanagan Lake and saw lots of hawk's and flocks of birds. Did some low passes on the lake and some sharp turns near the ground including take off and landing. Lots of beautiful scenery.
