Buzkashi - Traditional Central Asian Sport on Horseback
The Buzkashi game held in March 23, 2016 in Kayrakkum, Tajikistan.
Buzkashi (literally goat dragging in Persian), also known as kokpar or kupkari is the Central Asian sport in which horse-mounted players attempt to drag a goat or calf carcass toward a goal.
In Tajikistan, buzkashi is played in a variety of ways. The most common iteration is a free-form game, often played in a mountain valley or other natural arena, in which each player competes individually to seize the buz and carry it to a goal. Forming unofficial teams or alliances does occur, but is discouraged in favor of individual play. Often, dozens of riders will compete against one another simultaneously, making the scrum to retrieve a fallen buz a chaotic affair. Tajik buzkashi games typically consist of many short matches, with a prize being awarded to each player who successfully scores a point.

A street that came out to cool down one by two under the hot sun. By the way, many children stand out on the street. There are children who carry bags and greet each other. It 's a fun holiday, it' s a holiday. I should probably ask this kid who is looking at me and posing beautifully. What's in the bag? There is a gum candy. There is a lot of candy in the bag. Where did you get it? I got it from there. I received it because it was a gift to children. I'll collect a lot and present it to my aunt at the wedding. I am going to bring candy to the children. What kind of special day is it? We have two religious holidays in Ramadan and Courban, and today is the Kurban Festival. People pray to each other and eat delicious things together. So take this cattle sheep for this holiday.

SUMMARY
=======
The Samanid Empire (Persian: سامانیان, Sāmāniyān), also known as the Samanian Empire, Samanid dynasty, Samanid Emirate, or simply Samanids, was a Sunni Iranian empire, ruling from 819 to 999. The empire was centered in Khorasan and Transoxiana during its existence; at its greatest extent, the empire encompassed all of today's Afghanistan, large parts of Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and parts of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.The Samanid state was founded by four brothers; Nuh, Ahmad, Yahya, and Ilyas—each of them ruled their own territory under Abbasid suzerainty. In 892, Isma'il ibn Ahmad (892–907) united the Samanid state under one ruler, thus effectively putting an end to the feudal system used by the Samanids. It was also under him that the Samanids became independent of Abbasid authority.
The Samanid Empire is part of the Iranian Intermezzo, which saw the creation of a Persianate culture and identity that brought Iranian speech and traditions into the fold of the Islamic world. This would lead to the formation of the Turko-Persian culture.The Samanids promoted the arts, giving rise to the advancement of science and literature, and thus attracted scholars such as Rudaki, Ferdowsi, and Avicenna. While under Samanid control, Bukhara was a rival to Baghdad in its glory. Scholars note that the Samanids revived Persian language and culture more than the Buyids and the Saffarids, while continuing to patronize Arabic for sciences as well as the religious studies. They considered themselves to be descendants of Sasanian Empire. In a famous edict, Samanid authorities declared that here, in this region, the language is Persian, and the kings of this realm are Persian kings.
