Hokkaido Travel Vlog l Part 3 l Otaru Aquarium,Otaru Music Museum & Shiroi Koibito Park
y’all… this is part 3 for our Hokkaido adventure…!!! so we went to visit around Otaru. There was actually more attractions than the one that we visited here and we did not get to go to all of it because the attractions closes early at 3pm everyday if i am not mistaken. I LOVE THE PENGUINS STROLLING ACTIVITY SO MUCH..!!! the penguins were just so cute and behave so well..!!!
So we drove from Otaru to Sapporo later during the day to continue the adventure. We stop at the chocolate factory before reaching Sapporo and I just love how they run that place and the chocolate was just perfect to spend our evening there in cold weather.
We checked-in to Unizo hotel in Sapporo once we reach there from Otaru and continue our journey from there.

We've arrived at Otaru Chikko (Grand Park Hotel) Sapporo - Haneda transit to Chitose airport
Finally arrived at our final destination for this leg of the trip, Otaru Chikko. Took almost a day to get here, from Sydney to Haneda Airport (Tokyo) then a domestic flight to Chitose Airport (Sapporo) then a train to Otaru Chikko where we stayed at the Grand Park Hotel.
Its freezing!

Otaru 小樽市 is a city and port in Shiribeshi, Hokkaido, Japan, northwest of Sapporo. The city faces the Ishikari Bay, and has long served as the main port of the bay. The city was an Ainu habitation, and the name Otaru is recognised as being of Ainu origin, possibly meaning River running through the sandy beach. In 1880 the first railway line in Hokkaido was opened with daily service between Otaru and Sapporo.
The coastal area in the suburb of Otaru belongs to Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru-Beach Quasi-National Park and beauty spots, including the cliffs at Omotai and Takashima Misaki Cape attract many visitors.
Mount Kenashi Observatory is the Top spot for a spectacular view of Otaru to Ishikari bay.
At an altitude of 470 meters, the observatory offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the streets of Otaru, Otaru port and Ishikari Bay. Each season promises a spectacular view.

小樽朝里川温泉 宏楽園 Otaru Kourakuen Hokkaido JAPAN ♨
Onsen Kourakuen 宏楽園 is a quiet Japanese-style inn boasts a fantastic garden. The water from the outdoor bath flows down to the carp pond, completing the seasonally changing scenery of the peaceful grounds.
Owner two generations back has begun to built the garden, 150000 sq. with trees more than 100 years years old, from early Showa era, and now it is a famous place of Otaru where 200 cherry trees bloom in early May.
You can enjoy wisteria trellis and azaleas in late May and June, hydrangeas and the roses in summer.
Autumn leaves of the end of October is my favorite season.
