Welcome to Beverley
The stunning market town of Beverley has beauty in abundance. With an awe-inspiring Minster, historical buildings, cobbled streets, and small town charm, there is something for everyone.
Beverley has an up market shopping experience amongst cobbled streets and charming courtyards and has many high street names. In addition there is an interesting selection of smaller independent shops, an antique arcade and the Saturday market is delightful for a weekend browse.
The North Bar part of town has architecturally fascinating streets, divided by the 15th Century North Bar and contains a great number of listed buildings, and a wide variety of shops. Flemingate, East Yorkshire's newest retail and leisure destination, is home to Debenhams and other high street retailers, a six-screen Parkway cinema, and 500 space multi storey car park.
The town centre and surrounding streets are bordered by cosmopolitan pavement cafes, quirky cafes, cosy coffee shops and fine dining restaurants.

VISIT BEVERLEY FOR SOCIALISING | Visit Beverley
Beverley is a stunning location, with endless places to: socialise, have fun with the family or learn about its heritage and culture. Strawberry, one of the UK’s major marketing agencies, are responsible for Beverley’s online & digital image, in partnership with tourist board, Visit Hull & East Yorkshire. We were approached by Strawberry to produce various films that would present all Beverley has to offer.
The films were divided into six categories, each one covering an attraction to the town, such as shopping and staying over, but also including the Beverley Festival of Christmas 2018! Along with some very aesthetic locations across Beverley and a great cast, we shot various scenes that would be complimentary to each other, as we recognised that with one activity often comes another, such as staying over in accommodation and having a drink in the hotel bar.
The films have been launched as part of a Visit Beverley campaign, used across their social media channels that gives the audience a taste for what they can expect when they come to visit, or even propose fresh ideas for those who currently reside there. Given that the various scenes go hand-in-hand, they can be re-cut and updated to add a fresh perspective on how to spend a day in the historic town of Beverley.

Diary of disorder reveals how street drinkers blight Britons' lives | ABS US DAILY NEWS
★More ABS NEWS - Entertainment Video►►
A desperate resident has kept a detailed account of how street drinkers are causing a 'menace' to their area. The fed-up local handed over the log spanning a month that details incidents they witnessed on Beverley Road in Hull in June and July of last year. The diary describes people urinating on the street, dodgy deals being made in alleyways and walls that are covered in human faeces. The road contains five mini-market off-licences which operate within 100 metres of each other, and the diary was submitted as evidence by Humberside Police in the force's objection to the granting of a new licence for a sixth store. However, despite the log, city councillors still voted unanimously to approve the application for the sixth store. The evidence diary comes just a week after a gang of rowdy street drinkers were seen on the same road, swigging red wine and fighting with each other.Although the street drinking gangs are separate and not known to each other, the issue of drunks causing misery appears to stretch the length of Beverley Road. Another street, Spring Bank, is also a hot-spot for gangs of drunks, who have previously been described as a 'menace' by worried residents. The owner of the new Beverley Road off-licence shop says police should do more about street drinkers. Humberside Police community beat manager PC Stephen Morley admitted just one dispersal notice had been issued by the force over a 12-month period in the area under special powers introduced in 2016 to combat street drinking and antisocial behaviour. That followed an incident when a man was arrested at 9.30am for being drunk and disorderly nearby a garage, where he urinated in full view of a woman customer who was filling her vehicle with fuel.In a statement, PC Morley said the problems were almost exclusively being caused by eastern European males as the area was used as a daily pick-up and drop-off point for factory workers. He added: 'Local residents have been complaining to the police for several years now about the anti-social behaviour by mainly males who are congregating on Beverley Road and in the [alleyways], drinking alcohol, defecating, leaving litter and empty alcohol containers.'In granting the licence for the new Zodiak Local store, the shop will only be allowed a minimum of four cans or bottles of beer in a single transaction. All sales will also be restricted to alcohol with a volume strength of 6.5 per cent or below. Synopsis: Two mismatched lovers arrive at the British seaside town of Scarborough, seeking an escape from the constraints of real life. Liz, desperately shy and beautiful, seems older than her companion, the happy-go-lucky and impulsive Daz. In their faded hotel room, amongst the peeling wallpaper and away from the prying eyes of their hometown, they laugh, quarrel, make love and enjoy their anonymity.
In an identical room in the same hotel, the sensitive artist Aiden and Beth, a fiery and impulsive young woman, tell the same story. As both couples are forced to come to terms with the illicit nature of their impossible love, power shifts from one lover to the other, and joy turns to heartache as they reel from the destructive force of illicit love.
Scarborough, from the producers of Lady Macbeth, stars Jodhi May (Netflix’s The Witcher), Jordan Bolger (Peaky Blinders), Edward Hogg (Jupiter Ascending) and Jessica Barden (The Lobster, The End of the F***king World). Adapted from the acclaimed play by Fiona Evans, it is written and directed by Barnaby Southcombe (I, Anna).
