Parrsboro & Cape Sharp Lighthouses, Nova Scotia, Canada via DJI drone (#LighthouseProject)
Filmed in Autumn 2015, experience these two amazing lighthouses located along the Bay of Fundy in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.
Parrsboro Lighthouse: First built in 1852, it withstood a violent storm in November 1873, but finally succumbed to erosion around 1945. It was replaced by a skeletal tower until the present lighthouse was constructed in 1980.
Cape Sharp Lighthouse: The first lighthouse at Cape Sharp was constructed in 1886 at the narrowest part of the Minas Basin. The present lighthouse, constructed in 1973, was destaffed in 1988.

Weekend in Parrsboro - July 23rd, 2016
This past weekend Sam & myself took a trip home to Parrsboro for the DYM weekend. The video is mostly drone shots, shot from all-around town over the course of the weekend.
There's a reason Parrsboro is a hot tourist spot; secluded, quiet and there are some amazing things to see. It's tough to try and capture Parrsboro in a one minute video so I'm sure there will be future videos to come, but here's my first stab!

Lake Huron Mississagi Lighthouse, Meldrum Bay Canada
This lighthouse guided vessels through the hazardous 3 kilometre Mississagi Straits. John Miller was the first lighthouse keeper until 1887. Boats provisioned him biannually. A road replaced the horse trail in 1940. Electricity replaced the coal oil lamp in 1970.

Annual Festival of Flight in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, Canada. The festival features principally free flight paragliders and hang gliders but this year there were also 7 or 8 Powered Paragliders. The weather and scenery were awesome and we all had a grand time.
