It is said that Parshuram, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, made the cave with his axe and used to worship the lord Shiva at this serene place in the foothills of the Aravalis mountain range. The cave, 3,995 feet above sea-level, has naturally made figures of Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva and also has nine Kunds which never go dry. The place is 14 km from Sadri town.
There are 500 stairs to reach down to the ancient cave. This is one of the pleasant and delightful place. It is also known as Amarnath temple of Rajasthan and second Amarnath temple of India[1].
Parshuram Mahadev Temple does not have any special program on Parshuram Jayanti, but every year Shravan Shukla Shishthi and Saptami get a huge fair here

In the picturesque hills of Aravali, the Parshuram Mahadev Cave temple was built by Parshuram himself by cutting the rock with his fence. To reach this cave temple, you have to travel 500 steps. Inside this cave temple, there is a self-geographical location where Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu, had performed rigorous penance for many years of Lord Shiva. On the basis of austerity, he had received Dhanush, Akshay Tumar and Divya Charias from Lord Shiva.
The surprising thing is that the entire cave remains in the same rock. The pattern above is like the cow's thong. Parashuram Mahadev temple is situated on the border of Rajsamand and Pali district of Rajasthan. The main cave temple comes in Rajsamand district whereas Kund Dham comes in Pali district. It is about 100 kilometers away from Pali and only 10 km from famous famous Kumbhalgarh fort.
Its height is 3600 feet above sea level. Somewhere far away there is Parshuram Mahadev's garden in the Saadri area. By Road: Parshuram Temple is located in the Rajsamand district in the Kumbhalgarh and 98 km from Udaipur. One can easily reach here by bus or taxi.
By Rail: Parshuram Temple is well connected through nearest Falna and Rani Railway station to major cities railway stations like Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Chennai, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.
By Air: Parshuram Temple can be reach through nearest Udaipur Airport which is well connected with regular domestic flights to Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur and Jaipur.

parshuram Mahadev Temple, Rajasthan टांगीनाथ धाम – जहाँ पर है भगवान परशुराम का फरसा अरावली की सुरम्य पहाड़ियों में स्तिथ परशुराम महादेव गुफा मंदिर का निर्माण स्वंय परशुराम ने अपने फरसे से चट्टान को काटकर किया था। इस गुफा मंदिर तक जाने के लिए 500 सीढ़ियों का सफर तय करना पड़ता है। इस गुफा मंदिर के अंदर एक स्वयं भू शिवलिंग है जहां पर विष्णु के छठे अवतार परशुराम ने भगवान शिव की कई वर्षो तक कठोर तपस्या की थी। तपस्या के बल पर उन्होंने भगवान शिव से धनुष, अक्षय तूणीर एवं दिव्य फरसा प्राप्त किया था। कहां स्थित है : परशुराम महादेव का मंदिर राजस्थान के राजसमन्द और पाली जिले की सीमा पर स्तिथ है। मुख्य गुफा मंदिर राजसमन्द जिले में आता है जबकि कुण्ड धाम पाली जिले में आता है। पाली से इसकी दुरी करीब 100 किलोमीटर और विशव प्रसिद्ध कुम्भलगढ़ दुर्ग से मात्र 10 किलोमीटर है। सावन में भरता है विशाल मेला : परशुराम महादेव मंदिर में परशुराम जयंती पर तो कोई खास कायक्रम नहीं होता है लेकिन हर साल श्रावण शुक्ल षष्ठी और सप्तमी को यहां विशाल मेला लगता है। Parshuram Mahadev Temple is a Shiva temple in Desuri tehsil in Pali district of Rajasthan state in India . Fairs are organised here twice a year. On the Shravan Shukla Sastami and Saptami (6th and 7th) usually falling in August/September a large fair held. Some social organisations, notably Amar Ganga Charitable Trust, have been arranging food and lodging facilities for the past many years. In the picturesque hills of Aravali, the Parshuram Mahadev Cave temple was built by Parshuram himself by cutting the rock with his fence. To reach this cave temple, you have to travel 500 steps. Inside this cave temple, there is a self-geographical location where Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu, had performed rigorous penance for many years of Lord Shiva. On the basis of austerity, he had received Dhanush, Akshay Tumar and Divya Charias from Lord Shiva.

Parashuram Mahadev temple is situated on the border of Rajsamand and Pali district of Rajasthan. The main cave temple comes in Rajsamand district whereas Kund Dham comes in Pali district. It is about 100 kilometers away from Pali and only 10 km from famous famous Kumbhalgarh fort.
Its height is 3600 feet above sea level. Somewhere far away there is Parshuram Mahadev's garden in the Saadri area. A few miles away from the cave temple is Mathrakundia, where Parshuram was freed from the sins of Matrica. Apart from this, Parshuram's father, Maharshi Jamdagni's Tapoprabhoomi, is 100 km away from here.
By Road: Parshuram Temple is located in the Rajsamand district in the Kumbhalgarh and 98 km from Udaipur. One can easily reach here by bus or taxi.
By Rail: Parshuram Temple is well connected through nearest Falna and Rani Railway station to major cities railway stations like Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Chennai, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.
By Air: Parshuram Temple can be reach through nearest Udaipur Airport which is well connected with regular domestic flights to Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur and Jaipur.

Ranakpur Jain temple Rajasthan
Ranakpur Temples are acclaimed world-wide for their intricate and superb architectural style. These temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jains. Located in village of Ranakpur near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan, Ranakpur temple lies at a distance of 95 km in the north of Udaipur city. The temple is easily accessible from the city of Udaipur as regular buses are easily available. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are known for being the largest and most important temples of the Jain cult.
The temple is said to have been built by Seth Dharna Sah (a Jain businessman) with the aid of Rana Kumbha, who ruled Mewar in the 15th century. Ranakpur got its name after the name of the Rajput Monarch and likewise the temples. The temple complex is positioned in an isolated valley on the western side of the Aravalli Range. The Jain Temples of Ranakpur are certainly creditable for their splendid architecture. This temple is wholly constructed in light colored marble and comprises a basement covering an area of 48,000 sq feet. There are more than 1400 exquisitely carved pillars that support the temple.
In the complex, there are several temples including Chaumukha temple, Parsavanath temple, Amba Mata Temple and Surya Temple. Among all of them, Chaumukha Temple is the most important and as the term Chaumukha suggests, this temple is four-faced. Chaumukha temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath, who is the first 'Tirthankara' of the Jains. The Temple structure is highly compound having four different doorways to get into the chambers. These chambers ultimately take you to the main hall where the image of Adinath is positioned.
The four faced image also symbolizes the Tirthankara's quest for the four directions and ultimately the cosmos. The image is surrounded by many small shrines and domes. One more range of cells with separate roofs encircles these shrines and domes all over again. The five spires elevate above the walls and around 20 cupolas rise from roof of the pillared hall. Each spire houses a shrine and the largest shrine is the important one that addresses the central altar. The temple ceilings are festooned with foliate scrollwork and geometric patterns.
The temple is a masterpiece of architecture and boasts of not less than four additional shrines. It has 24 pillared halls with 80 domes that are supported by 400 columns. The upper and lower parts of the domes are linked by brackets that have deities' sculptures. Above all, you would be amazed to see at a height of 45 feet engraved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures. Each column is intricately carved and it is surprising to know that no two columns have the similar design.
Apart from this, another stunning act about these columns is that they change their color from golden to pale blue after every hour during the day. In the mandap (prayer hall), the two big bells of 108 kg each produce a harmonious sound on the movement. Chaumukha temple is formed like a Nalinigulm Vimana (heavenly aircraft) and provides this whole structure a celestial appearance. Conceivably, it is due to the intricacy of the structure that the temple took approximately 65 years to complete.
The Temple of Parsavanath is another attraction that is worth visiting. Built in the mid 15th century, the temple is renowned for its engraved windows embellished with Jain figures. Parsavanath Temple is also known as Patriyon Ka Mandir. In close proximity to this temple, you can trace two other temples dedicated to Neminath (22nd saint) and Surya Narayan (Sun God) respectively. Here, Surya Narayan Temple has innumerable wall projections with circular structure. The sight of Lord Surya driven in his chariot of seven horses is truly pleasing.
Ranakpur Temple was also nominated among the top 77 wonders, while deciding for new Seven Wonders of the World. However, number of wonders cannot be increased and some or the other would come among the top seven, still Ranakpur Temple is undoubtedly a wonder.
