So here we are again getting ready to go back to Australia but I just had to stop by in Bangkok first! I love that city, there's no doubt! Hahaha .... This is a hybrid episode, my last episode of Japan With Me and a new vlog of Bangkok Only 2.0 vlog. It is quite sad to leave Japan after living here for a short while. However, I am VERY EXCITED to visit Bangkok. Starting of I'm catching a plane from Nagoya, Japan to Bangkok, Thailand with Thai Airways and I must say they probably have the best airplane food that I have ever had! So for this, I would spend around 10 hours long transit before I'd catch another plane to Australia. Check out my special travel vlog series to Bangkok, it is called Bangkok Only. It is the most popular vlog series I've done which mostly thanks to kind Thai people who view and love it! I really appreciate! To get to the shopping of CentralWorld via the public trains and BTS from Suvarnabhumi Airport is very easy and cheap for a solo traveller or maybe a group of two or three. It takes you straight to the shopping and food districts. It is so hilarious that I could lose myself walking around and shopping for like 4-6 hours straight! I really enjoyed CentralWorld, Siam Paragon and Platinum Shopping Mall. Nearly the end of this vlog, you could see that I was so surprised by the accomplishment of what they have done to some of the places in the area! ....No spoilers, so you can go and watch!

BANGKOK TRAVEL VLOG 2019: Part 2

Going to Ayutthaya:
We rode the BTS skytrain to Mo Chit station then took a grab to Mo Chit new van terminal. From there, we took a minibus (van) straight to Ayutthaya. The minivan costs around 120 baht per person.
Upon arrival, we had lunch at CabKang Hiso and we got the noodle soup with assorted meats and a dry noodle dish that comes with a roasted river prawn. They have a red sauce that was savory and complemented the noodles.
Afterwards, we talked to some tuktuk tour operators to negotiate a tour. We took 3 temples for 2 hours and the rate was around 400 baht. We visited Wat Chai Watthanaram, Wat Lokayasutharam (reclining buddha) and Wat Maha That (buddha head in tree roots).
Going to Pattaya:
We rode the BTS skytrain to Ekkamai and walked down to Ekkamai bus station where you can catch a bus straight to Pattaya. Fare is around 120 baht (I forgot) per person and the trip takes about 2.5 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at Pattaya bus station, we rode an open air taxi which costs 200 baht to the Sanctuary of Truth.

Back in Bangkok, we went to Jay Oh (Jeh O Chula) for dinner, which is pretty famous because there are a lot of locals and a long queue to get seated and we waited for almost an hour. We got the seafood tom yum goong and spicy salmon sashimi dish and everything was great although a bit too spicy for us.
After dinner, we went to Nana Plaza area to see what's good, got a few bottles and called it a night.
