Koh Yao Noi is a Thai island in the Andaman Sea located in Phang Nga Bay between Phuket and Krabi. National Geographic ranked Koh Yao Noi as one of the 6 Wild and Beautiful Places to Practice Yoga. Koh Yao Noi remains a hidden gem in Thailand and all of Southeast Asia – an island largely undiscovered by mainstream tourism with pristine beaches, friendly locals, and outstanding natural beauty. Island Yoga is located on a beautiful beachfront looking over limestone karsts of Phnag Nga Bay.
I had my regular yoga classes and tai chi practices there.

Thailand Paradise island no.2 - Koh Yao Noi
Week 5 of a year of travel - very short one this time.
Koh Yao Noi is a another hidden gem right off the coast of Phuket. Like it's brother island Koh Yao Yai, it is hardly touched by tourism and it is one of the great islands of Thailand.
This is a must if you want to escape from the busyness of the mainland and life for a short break.
Next week I'll be at another island, Koh Samui, then onto the world famous Full Moon Party!
Paradise in Koh Yao Noi Thailand
It was paradise at Paradise resort. We stayed for just two days on this beautiful spot on Koh Yao Noi, an island east of Phuket. The resort is on the north east side of the island, accessible form the main Manoh pier over land, or directly the pier at Paradise. We did simple and few things but the beauty and ambience just filled the space and time disappeared. In this video you'll see the views, the chilled, beach vibe between the trees, the amazing hornbills, and 'The Swing.'

Pasai Beach is one of the main tourist attractions on the small island of Ko Yao Noi, in the middle of Phang Nga Bay.

We decided to stay on this island with very little knowledge of what it would be like. It turned out to be a wonderful place to relax and explore. It's located between Krabi and Phuket only it's not nearly as crowded, has extremely friendly locals and great places to eat. The view at the end is the sunset from our AirBnB.
Never did find out what was biting or stinging us in the ocean. Let us know if you know what that might be.
