And the amazing thing about this park is that there is a huge fishing pond in the middle of the park. So join me as I continue my journey towards Pasir Ris Park.

Exploring Pasir Ris: Singapore's Coastal Town - #InstaWalk With MND Singapore
Together with the Ministry of National Development (MND), Housing & Development Board (HDB) and the National Parks Board (NParks), TheSmartLocal organised #InstaWalk at Pasir Ris on the 17th June 2017 to learn about the hidden gems of Pasir Ris, a coastal town that's full of life.

Pasir Ris Park is a beach park located in the eastern part of Singapore.
There is a 6-hectare mangrove forest within the park. The Boardwalks enable visitors to explore the forest.

There's a better way to get wet at one of Singapore's largest waterparks! Experience the first raft slide in Southeast Asia, Ular-Lah is a super flume ride that offers you a chance to brave the rapids, or plunge down a four-storey ramp, accelerating until you hit the deck and skimming across to soar on the opposite side. Wild Wild Wet is open from 10am to 7pm on Singapore Public Holidays, and School Holidays.
Downtown East is located in Pasir Ris, Singapore, between Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Pasir Ris Park. is a one-stop leisure, lifestyle and dining destination; and also a choice venue for Singaporeans and NTUC members to enjoy a wide array of entertainment options at affordable prices.
From a humble beginning as NTUC Pasir Ris Resort, it was redeveloped in 2000 to become Downtown East, one of the largest lifestyle and recreational hubs in Singapore. Its laid-back ambience, complete with resort facilities and a water park, makes for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Downtown East is also a popular choice for union and corporate events with various entertainment entities available at the same destination, including a broad variety of dining and retail options.
Today, Downtown East is home to D’Resort, Wild Wild Wet, Market Square and MUCE.
Charming and tranquil, Pasir Ris Park is a great place for families to have a fun day out. Aside from modern park activities such as pony rides, water sports, cycling, inline skating and barbeque rental, it also features a carefully preserved six-hectare mangrove forest.
With multiple trails and a Mangrove Boardwalk, visitors can explore the beauty of the mangrove forest and get close to its inhabitants. The three-storey Bird Watching Tower located within the mangrove forest allows bird enthusiasts to observe birds in their natural surroundings. Families can also have hours of fun at the playground, one of the largest in Singapore.
