Pasjaca beach is located in the Konavle in the small town of Popovići in the southern part of Croatia. It is a beautiful hidden beach found below very steep rocks. The only way to access it is by descending down steep steps carved out of the stone (250m altitude). As you descend you have the feeling that something beautiful and magnificent is waiting for you at the bottom because Pasjaca takes your breath away with its raw beauty. It is the perfect place for young couples, romantics and those who wish to take advantage of its privacy.

The pebbles on the beach are very small and clean, as is the sea at all times throughout the year. Because of its difficulty of access and anchoring, there is rarely a crowd at this beach, which is another advantage.

Pasjača beach near Dubrovnik is one of the most stunning beaches on the Adriatic. This sandy beach is in the Konavle region, below the village of Popovići, 30km from Dubrovnik and towards the border with Montenegro.

The beach isn't a natural one. It was formed during World War Two when tunnels were dug in surrounding villages and the surplus stones then created a beach. The sea wore down the stones and made a beautiful beach which shyly emerges from the giant Konavle cliffs. Unfortuantely, the ebach is disappearing because the sea is eroding the sand. For that reason, if you don't visit soon, you probably won't ever see it - unless someone unloads a new lot of stone. You reach the beach by steep steps on the cliff side and at parts will pass through dug out tunnels. At the top of the steps you'll find a car park so you don't have to worry about where to leave your car.
