Our Addiction to Kiteboarding Begins!! Sailing Vessel Delos Ep. 217
Kiteboarding is something we’ve always wanted to learn. In fact we had a kite on Delos when crossing the South Pacific and nearly killed ourselves trying to learn on our own. But now with an excellent teacher and some new kit we’re ready to give it another shot!
Pokemon leads us through the entire setup of a kite and harness- covering the quick release safety gear and the basics of flying. Before we know it we’re body dragging all over the place and ready for our first board lesson. Face plants ensue, and some salt water is pushed down our throats but we succeed and have a few somewhat controlled rides by the end of our lessons.
Then Pokemon and his mates show us what it’s all about by giving us a demonstration of what 11 years of every day practice will do to your skills. We ended up learning so much about kiting, got our basic skills down, and left with a passion to learn more about this sport.

Cozumel Concierge; Your parasailing connection.
Let Cozumel Concierge arrange your Parasailing activity during your next vacation to Cozumel.
If you would like to know more about how you can participate in this exciting excursion see:
The History of Parasailing:
In 1961, the Pioneer Parachute Company gave parasailing its formal name, but credit goes to Mark McCulloh, who developed parasailing as we know it. He was the first to parasail commercially in 1970. Initially, he used specially made platforms set on the shore to launch a parascender into the air, but in 1972 he turned his static platforms into motorized platforms to take the parascender directly into the sea. In 1974, McCulloh further developed his platform and attached it to a boat with the ability to pull the parascender back to the boat. This was considered the greatest development of parasailing, since it allowed the parascender to take off and land on the boat platform in the middle of the sea.
Things to consider before deciding who to parasail with:
Make sure that you do not parasail during strong winds and always make sure to parasail with a reputable company. This is where Cozumel Concierge comes in. We have the ability to work with anyone on the island and living here gives us the unique advantage of knowing who has the best safety record and who has the most experienced team. And you will always receive orientation and instructions prior to the harness being secured. The equipment is in top shape and the boat captain and crew have the experience necessary to make your flight an exciting and memorable experience!
Space is limited to make sure to secure your reservation in advance. In the upper right hand side of this page you will find pricing and be able to make your reservation on line.

Chapter 8 3:29:24 - Workshops 2A
Chapter 9 3:56:21 - Closing Remarks
To fully explore and understand the ocean, we can no longer rely on a handful of large, expensive research vessels and vehicles. We truly need all hands on deck to do it.
On November 8-9, 2018, we brought together leaders and changemakers in ocean exploration, entertainment, recreation, and art to imagine new ways to empower an open, inclusive global community of ocean explorers. Our goal is to imagine creative ways to make the ocean so pervasive in modern culture that everyone has a positive association with and understanding of the sea.

Finding Nemo - diving in Thailand
The dive center provides diving training services. Our experienced instructors and PADI divemasters will guide you underwater and arrange a meeting with the family of clownfish.
Clownfish is not great at swimming, so it is difficult to imagine their life without the patronage of an anemone (anemone). So they all form symbiotic mutualisms with sea anemones. Clownfish relieve actinia from dead tentacles, keep it clean, attract the attention of small animals, which are paralyzed and eaten by actinia. In turn, clownfish get protection. Hardly Nemo will feel danger, as they immediately rush to hide in the poisonous tentacles of their living house.
Interesting fact! Anemonefish are sequential hermaphrodites, meaning they develop into males first, and when they mature, they become females. If the female anemonefish is removed from the group, such as by death, a widowed male transforms into a female, capable of laying eggs.
Divers of any level can meet these interesting creatures:
Pattaya has certain dive sites where we always go to see Seahorse. Though they are usually well camouflaged if you know where to look then you can find with relative ease.
There are about 40 known species of seahorse, 2 of which, the tiger tail seahorse, and the hedgehog seahorse, can be found right here diving in Pattaya.
Seahorses may be difficult to find but if you look closely at the pencil sea urchins all around the Pattaya Islands, you can find hedgehog seahorse anchoring themselves to the urchin’s spines. There are even tiger tail seahorses out over the sand by Koh Klung Badan.

Auburn Coach Wife Kristi Malzahn Agrees with Match & eHarmony: Men are Jerks
My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling Bravo! in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.)
Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality.
Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely.
And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)
