In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Netiv Haasara..
This is just incredible, I am at the Moshav called Netiv Haasara which is located 750 meters from Gaza.
The people living here don't have 10 seconds to find a bomb shelter when a rockets hits from Gaza. There is bomb shelters every where, and they have this big wall also to try to protect them.
They have painted it with this message about peace, and its full of stones with different messages for peace also, simply just amazing.
In this video you will see just how close these people are living to Gaza..
You got to check it out..

STORYLINE
Israel has released a female Palestinian prisoner and sent her to the Gaza Strip as part of a compromise deal that persuaded her to end her 43-day hunger strike.
Hana Shalabi, a 30-year-old Islamic Jihad supporter from the West Bank, was on Sunday escorted through the Erez crossing by Israeli police, and entered the Gaza Strip.
Under the terms of her release, she must remain in the seaside strip for the next three years.
Shalabi went on hunger strike to protest against Israel's policy of administrative detention, under which it can hold Palestinian prisoners for months - even years - without charge.
She launched the strike after being placed in administrative detention on February 16.
She ended the strike on Thursday and her doctors said she lost 14 kilograms (31 pounds) during the strike.
Her release is another blow for Palestinians protesting against Israel's military policy of administrative detention.
Shalabi's sister blasted the move by the Israelis, saying they put her sister Hana under enormous mental pressure.
It was very hard for her, they used her medical condition as she was on a hunger strike, and she was under this continuous pressure. We reject this agreement, it should have been agreed with us, said Zahra Shalabi, speaking from their home in the Jenin refugee camp.
Jenin is in the West Bank, which lies on the opposite side of Israel from Gaza.
The move was also criticised by Islamic Jihad leader Khader Habib in Gaza City.
We, at the Islamic Jihad movement, will receive the freed prisoner Hana Shalabi in Gaza Strip, but we are rejecting the Israeli policy of deportation and we consider it a war crime against the Palestinians, Habib said.
Last month Palestinian detainee Khader Adnan won release after 66 days without food.
Israel is currently holding about 300 administrative detainees.

STORYLINE:
After a day in captivity, blindfolded by gunmen and forced to wear women's clothing as he was taken from place to place in Gaza City, an Associated Press photographer was released unharmed.
Emilio Morenatti, 37, was brought to the office of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas by Fatah officials shortly before midnight.
It was not immediately clear who kidnapped him, though officials said he was taken by criminal elements.
Later he returned to Israel through the Erez crossing.
Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh's office said in a statement that the identity of the kidnappers was known and they would be pursued.
Palestinian security authorities have blamed criminal elements for the kidnapping.
An official claimed that a doorman who worked at the Gaza City apartment where Morenatti was staying had been detained on suspicion of tipping off the kidnappers.
Morenatti was seized as he left his residence on Tuesday morning for an AP car, where Majed Hamdan, an AP driver and translator, was waiting.
Hamdan said four gunmen grabbed his keys and phone and told him to turn away, pressing a gun to his head and threatening to harm him if he moved.
They snatched Morenatti, shoved him into a white Volkswagen Golf car and drove off, Hamdan said.
Just moments after his release, Morenatti said he was kept blindfolded much of the time, and that his captors spoke only Arabic, which he doesn't speak.
He said he was held in complete darkness for much of the time.
In the second house, he said, he could hear the sounds of a family, and was given one meal of cheese and lunch meats early in the day and a portion of fruit later on.
He said the kidnappers kept him in a small room, where he was held for about four hours during which he was visited by masked men.
Later he was put in a car dressed as a woman.
Tom Curley, AP's president and chief executive officer, said that the Associated Press is relieved that Emilio Morenatti has been released and that the security of the organisation's journalists is always a top concern.
Curley expressed his appreciation to everyone who helped to obtain Morenatti's release.
Over the past two years, militants have frequently kidnapped foreigners as bargaining chips to get relatives released from Palestinian prisons, secure government jobs or settle personal scores.
In most cases, the kidnappings were brief and the hostages released unharmed.
But recently, the kidnappers have changed their tactics. Two Fox News journalists kidnapped in August were held for two weeks, much longer than previous cases. The men also suffered physical and mental abuse in captivity.
