Rocks in Patnem beach South side- exploring Goa beaches
There are magnificient Rocks at both south and north sides of Patnem beach. This video shows the rocks in the South side of the beach.
Patnem Beach is in located in South Goa in between Colomb beach and Rajbagh beach. As there are difficult rocks in between the beaches you cannot climb the rocks to go to colomb beach or Rajbagh beach. Hence you have to take long routes through the road to reach this beach.
Patnem beach is mixed with sand and rock. However, the rocks of Patnem beach are very attractive as you can see in the video. It is a long beach with all types of attractions. I would like to rank it as one of the top 5 beaches of South Goa.

Live from Palolem Beach Goa | Palolem Beach Huts | Sunset On The Beach
Two Roving Hearts were recently in Goa and we had an absolutely amazing evening at Palolem Beach. Located in South Goa, this beach is a gorgeous crescent shaped beach which has a plethora of gorgeous beach huts, restaurants, hotels and resorts. We travelled from Madgaon to Palolem by road which was an easy 1-hour drive. One can come to this beach directly from the airport as well.
Palolem Beach Resort Goa is one of the few upscale places to stay / hotels in Palolem which is located right on the beach front. If you don't get a room here or are looking for more affordable places to stay in Palolem, which most backpackers or budget travellers do then try out one of the several beach huts / beach shacks / guesthouses available for daily hire.
Things to do in Palolem include, swimming in the shallow and pristine waters, sunbathing, sports on the beach, eating amazing Goan food ... our favourite is Ciarans restaurant which is the absolute best ... taking in the beautiful sunset like we did in this video and enjoying the vibrant Palolem nightlife.
Places to visit near Palolem Beach include Colomb Bay and Patnem Beach which are towards the south of Palolem.

Another 2 crosses desecrated at Loutolim on Wednesday night. This despite extra vigil by Police
Two more crosses were desecrated at Lotoulim last night by unknown miscreants. Despite deployment of IRB platoons and extra vigil on part of Goa police the vandalism cases have not stopped. Till date around nine crosses, one temple Nandi and a cemetery has been vandalised by miscreants. Voices of concern have been raised by cross section of society, religious as well as political leaders across party lines over the adverse effects of the desecration incidents on the communal harmony in the state.

Galjibag Beach

Top 5 Goa Alternative Beaches of India
When you think of Beaches in India the name comes in mind is Goa, the of a coastal retreat with sights of gleaming sands and azure waters with a shimmering sun in the backdrop. A lush green landscape edges the golden coastline, which overlooks the scintillating seas in the beach capital of India. Although the smallest state in the country, Goa is one of the nation’s biggest tourist destinations. There are many beaches which are popular in india and abroad. The beaches like Calangute beach, baga beach, anjuna beach are most famous among them.

गोवा डायरी Goa Diary Day 17/22- Colomb Patnem Rajbagh Beach
After visiting Palolem beach our target was to cover the beaches and other attractions near Palolem. Colomb beach and Patnem beach are just next to Palolem. But there are huge rocks (50-100 meters) between colomb beach and Palolem beach. Though some people were climbing those rocks to go to Colomb beach we thought to go by road.
Colomb beach is a small horse shoe shaped beach in South Goa located in between Palolem beach and Patnem beach. There is no proper road to go to this beach. Either you climb the rocks on the south side of Palolem beach to reach here or take a half km jungle type route from the motorable road to reach this beach.
Colomb beach is neither popular nor crowded but definitely interesting with beautiful rocks like Patnem beach. At the south side there are many small small coal type black color rocks. At the north side there are huge granite (and other type) rocks. You can climb on the rocks and enjoy the rocky beach. If you climb and cross the rocks at north side (100 meters) you will reach Palolem beach.
After seeing colomb beach we went to Patnem beach. There are huge rocks between colomb beach and patnem beach. Hence we had to take long route to reach Patnem beach. Patnem Beach is in located in South Goa in between Colomb beach and Rajbagh beach. Patnem beach is bigger than colomb beach. It is mixed with sand and rock. However, the rocks of Patnem beach are very attractive as you can see in the video. It is a long beach with all types of attractions. I would like to rank it as one of the top 5 beaches of South Goa.
Rajbagh beach is just next to Patnem beach. Here also there are mountains between Patnem and Rajbagh. Hence we had to take long route to reach there. Rajbagh is quite interesting with mountains on the north and Talpona River at the south. At the south side a tong shaped narrow land has extended into the sea. This place is important as there is river on one side and sea on the other. The water in the river is calm while the water of the sea has waves. You can also see some fishing and watersprots activities. I would rank it as one of the top 5 beaches of South Goa.
While going to Rajbagh beach we saw this Vishal Rakhumai Temple on the way. Soon after that you have to go through Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa. I think that is the only only to go Rajbagh beach. The Golf course has a very nice view which you can see in the video.
