Dandenong Pop Up Park - An introduction
Dandenong is currently the home of Melbourne's first Pop-Up-Park. This is a temporary park located on Foster Street that was built by the community for the community. The park features two synthetic soccer pitches, a BBQ area with picnic tables and a community garden. It turns unsightly vacant land into an activated community feature.
Places Victoria and Mission Australia led the implementation of the Pop-Up-Park. The Federal Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) provided funding for the project.
The hotel is a murderer of false stereotypes about Kazakhstan! Concept project of hotel Torsyk
Architecture concept - project of 5- star hotel ‘Torsyk’ was created in Aktau city in Kazakhstan. It is located on the bank of the Kaspian sea. The creation of the concept-project was implemented by a team of ‘Concept MV’ architects with the financial aid of an engineering company ‘Stron Holding’ . The following hotel includes 1000 rooms with the business center and all necessary facilities of 5-star hotel, including exhibition hall, Congress hall, made in the shape of national cups which are called ‘Piala’. Those might be used in order to hold any types of events. The hotel’s shape reminds us of a national liquid vessel called ‘Torsyk’, we hope that it will give a new direction to architecture of future Kazakhstan. The hotel was not only created for Kazakhstan inhabitants but also for international tourists. Its location and facilities allow not only to host tourists but also business-class visitors. Some of the people see its shape as an anchor, other see it as an oil drop all of the above mentioned things epitomize Aktau city. It is also as misterious and different for everyone just as any other Concept MV projects. In the mentioned object modern architecture intersects with national traditions and makes this object as unique as history and culture of Kazakhstan which would be helpful in terms of engagement of tourists.
We hope that our idea will inspire investors to build such a unique hotel on the bank of the Kaspian sea and give a start to the travelers to study natural beauties of Kazakhstan. Concept MV company offers the services of conceptual engineering and architectural visualization around the world. Our concepts are unique and sought after around the world. Young Homeless Girl Lived in 57 Different Foster Home Placements.
Lexsis breaks my heart. This adorable young woman has been hardened by the system and homelessness. Only 19, Lexsis has grown up most of her life on the streets.
I met Lexsis in Denver, Colorado. She says every day is a struggle for food and safe place to sleep. Lexsis says people should look at homeless youth through their eyes, that they are not after money but acceptance and security.
Lexsis went into foster care as a little girl. When I asked how many placements she responded 57. That number seemed a little high to me so I asked a social worker who specializes in youth and was told high numbers of placements like that are not uncommon. How can any child grow up normal when they are being tossed around the system like that?!!
The night before this interview Lexsis slept in a park and says someone poured water on her while she was sleeping!
This Invisible People road trip is made possible by Sevenly and Virgin Mobile USA, who are partnering to end youth homelessness through Virgin Mobile USA's initiative, RE*Generation. For more information please click here.

About Invisible People:
Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. The vlog (video blog) gets up close and personal with veterans, mothers, children, layoff victims and others who have been forced onto the streets by a variety of circumstances. Each week, they’re on InvisiblePeople.tv, and high traffic sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, proving to a global audience that while they may often be ignored, they are far from invisible.
Invisible People goes beyond the rhetoric, statistics, political debates, and limitations of social services to examine poverty in America via a medium that audiences of all ages can understand, and can’t ignore. The vlog puts into context one of our nation’s most troubling and prevalent issues through personal stories captured by the lens of Mark Horvath – its founder – and brings into focus the pain, hardship and hopelessness that millions face each day. One story at a time, videos posted on InvisiblePeople.tv shatter the stereotypes of America’s homeless, force shifts in perception and deliver a call to action that is being answered by national brands, nonprofit organizations and everyday citizens now committed to opening their eyes and their hearts to those too often forgotten.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the way we think about people experiencing homelessness.

Mexico Is Building Biggest Airport In American Continent : Mexico Future Mega Project
Mexico Is Building Biggest Airport In American Continent - Mexico Future Mega Project
Mexico City's New International Airport was announced by Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto on September 2, 2014, and is the largest public infrastructure mega project in a century. The new airport will replace current Benito Juárez International Airport, the busiest airport in Latin America transporting 41.7 million passengers in 2016
This $13 U.S. Billion-dollar airport is expected to begin operations in 2020 with three runways in operation simultaneously and a passenger capacity of 50 million per year. When fully completed, it will have two terminals and six runways with an annual passenger capacity of 125 million , making it the second largest airport in the world today.
The architecture :
The entrance to the terminal will feature a garden of cacti and symbols of the eagle and snake, part of the national symbol pictured on the country's Coat of Arms and flag.
The X is symbolic of the country's name, México. An X-shape is also considered efficient to extend the number of gates. The X shape is used in the airports of Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Nairobi, Pittsburgh, and Incheon.
The roof is airy, lightweight, and made of membrane.
designed to be the world’s most sustainable airport, the compact single terminal uses less materials and energy than a cluster of buildings. the design ensures short walking distances and few level changes.
The terminal is to be sustainable, aiming for a LEED Platinum certification. The project claims it is designed to be the world’s most sustainable airport.

The Outback Artist - The Incredible Journey
The Australian outback is a landscape that drew Frank Pash and many other artists deep into its interior to create paintings that capture the very spirit and essence of the outback. Frank Pash was a man with no religious conviction and no interest in spiritual matters. Then, in his darkest hour, he saw Jesus. Watch the program to learn more.

How to Tell If a Pearl Is Real
Watch more Buying, Spending, & Shopping Tips videos:
Don't be fooled at — find out if you're looking at the genuine article.
Step 1: Use your teeth
Scrape the pearl across your front teeth. Real pearls typically feel gritty or slightly rough, while fakes will likely feel smooth.
Step 2: Test for friction
Rub one pearl against another lightly. If you feel a sandy friction, then they are probably real.
Step 3: Magnify them
Using a magnifying glass or a jeweler's loupe, examine the pearl’s surface. Real pearls look scaly; imitations look grainy.
Step 4: Check for flaws
Check for flaws in the surface and shape of the pearl. Real pearls usually have imperfections.
Tip
Look at a strand of pearls carefully. If the pearls seem uniform in size, color, or shape, it is likely the pearls are not real.
Step 5: Perform a sunlight test
Take the pearls into the sunlight or hold them under bright lights. Real pearls will reveal a colorful luster that shifts as they move.
Step 6: X-ray the pearl
Have the pearls x-rayed by a jewelry expert. This may cost you, but knowing for sure may be worth it.
Did You Know?
Did you know? It may take as long as six years before a cultured pearl is ready to harvest.
'I survived a serial killer' - Paul Onions on Ivan Milat | 60 Minutes Australia
(1996) If horror has a human face then its name is Ivan Robert Milat. Australia's worst serial killer found guilty of murdering seven backpackers. He's to spend the rest of his natural life behind bars for killings the judge said were 'savage and cruel' - amongst the worst of their type. Milat was also found guilty of abducting an eighth backpacker, the one who got away ... Englishman Paul Onions. Without him Milat might still be at large, still killing because only through his evidence were police able to pinpoint Milat as the murderer. Onions, you see, had gone perilously close to being another victim and the experience had haunted him. He told his chilling story to Charles Wooley.
