Beer Heights Light Railway at Pecorama
Take a ride on the Beer Heights Light Railway at Pecorama in Devon. Opened in 1975, the line runs from Much Natter Station out to Wildway, via the glorious Gardens and a long, dark tunnel. Totalling 1-mile in length, the railway is often regarded as one of the finest 7 1/4 Inch Gauge layouts in the country with a full signalling system consisting of traditional semaphore and electronic signals.
Throughout the year Pecorama hosts Special Events centred on the railway such as August's PECO Loco Week and Bank Holiday Railway Gala. For more information, please visit pecorama.co.uk

Beer Heights Light Railway, Pecorama
This is a short film about the Beer Heights Light Railway, at Pecorama in Devon. We see locomotive No 1, 'Otter' preparing a train for a trip round the circuit. The 2-4-2 tender locomotive has 31/4 by 41/2 cylinders and a 12 diameter boiler.
Unfortunately the battery on my camcorder ran out, so I didn't get to film the rest of the journey.

Beer Heights Light Railway - Pecorama - 29/07/2019
Monday 29th July 2019 saw a brief visit to Pecorama and the Beer Heights Light Railway at Beer, Devon.
In action on the day were 2-4-2 Finn & Single Fairlie 2-4-4T, No.9 Claudine, hauling visitors around the 1 Mile set-up around the Pecorama site.
In this video we see both locomotives in action from a few quick vantage points, during our brief visit.

My Visit To Pecorama
On the 17/08/2019, the same day when me and my friends visited the Seaton Tramway, we also visited a model & miniature railway attraction called “Pecorama”, located in the village of Beer in East Devon. This video showcases the attraction by firstly showing its wide variety of model railway layouts, followed by a ride and runby shots of the steam train on the miniature railway.
