Phenomen of cable vibration in cable-stayed bridge, induced by the combined action of wind and rain. It is presently considered that rain-wind induced oscillations cause about 95% of the reported vibration problems in cable-stayed bridges.
Wind-rain induced vibrations of a cable-stayed bridge are damped using tuned mass dampers.

Split Airport SPU/LDSP - New Terminal Construction & Aerial Views - Beginning Stages
Finally, Split airport is in the process of getting a new terminal building extension. The new terminal building should fill the area between the apron and the existing terminal building. Also on the other side of the road there will be a new parking area with a brand new bus terminal connected to the new terminal via enclosed pedestrian bridge. The existing terminal building should be reconstructed once the new terminal building becomes operational. All works should be finished by the 2019 summer season. Also, by the time of the 2019 summer season, Split airport should get a completely overhauled and modernised runway. Something that all pilots will love :) Considering the present state of the runway.

Parrot Disco: Drone Flying over Zagreb Croatia - Remetinec Rotary
My first ever video for Youtube!
In the video i am flying the Parrot drone: The Parrot Disco. The Disco is flown by the Skycontroller remote and the use of the Free Flight Pro app.
The setting for the video is beside Sava river just close to the Remetinec Rotary and the three main bridges of Zagreb: Sava bridge, railroad Hendrix bridge and the pedestrian walk way bridge. The video features magnificent views of the the said bridges and other scenery: most notable is the view of Jarun lake and Arena Zagreb.
After much watching and reading on the community websites I have been able to make the video the way I like it by using the free Garmin Virb Edit version 5.1.3. There is a also newer version of this software. However this specific version is able to manage the flight data correctly. The flight data was converted to needed format by Flight Data manager ( Thank you! Wonderful job.
As for the video itself it has been converted from mp4 to mp4 via the infamous VLC software. The original videos have been converted in order for the Garmin Virb program to recognize and import the Parrot Disco video.

Walking Around World's Only Pedestrian City VENICE ITALY
Venice is the world's only pedestrian city. So I went on a Mediterranean Cruise. This is the final Stop No. 6 of 6: Venice, Italy. Venice is a shallow lagoon connected by 409 bridges. The lagoon and a part of the city are listed as a World Heritage Site. Hope you enjoyed the video!!

Igor, Vanja and other electric vehicle owners in Croatia, after years of being ignored, have decided to take matters into their own hands. To emphasize the big problem for a small community of EV owners in Croatia whose charging sites are permanently blocked by fossil fuel vehicles, there is still no law in Croatia to remove these vehicles. Igor organized friends, called the media and performed a blocking of a gas station called 'Revenge of the electric car,' which lasted 6 minutes, during which each of the 15 electric punks on the revenge mission also spent some money and talked to the surprised but friendly staff at the gas station.

Zadar In Your Pocket - Land Gate
The city walls have had several entrances knocked through them at more confident points in Zadar's history. Some of them were walled up for good, but four remain as the vital link between the town within the walls and the sea outside them.
The Venetians built the Land Gate - then the main entrance into the city - on the little Foša harbour in 1543. It's considered one of the finest monuments of the Venetian rule in Dalmatia, and has the form of a triumphal arch with a central passage for wheeled traffic, and two smaller side arches for pedestrians. It's decorated with motifs such as St Chrysogonus (Zadar's main patron saint) on his horse, and the Shield of St Mark (the coat of arms of the Republic of Venice). Previously, the area had been highly defensive, with a surrounding moat.
