Penang Ferry Service
It is the oldest ferry service in Penang Malaysia. It began its operation in 1920 to facilitate the transportation between the Penang Island and Penang Mainland, Butterworth. Now, it remains as one of the Penang attractions.

KOMTAR is the iconic Penang attractions tower in Penang Georgetown. It is the tallest building in Penang Island and sixth tallest in Malaysia. The height is 243.7 meters

Von allen empfohlen und/oder mega gefeiert. Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.
Ich fande es cool, aber nicht so überragend, vielleicht habe ich aber auch zu viel erwartet.
Die Streetart war aufjedenfall sehr cool anzusehen, doch sehr touristisch. Der Penang Hill war sehr anstrengend und der Strand hatte einen schönen Sonnenuntergang, war ansonsten aber auch von Touriattraktionen überfüllt.
Trotzdem habe ich die Zeit dort genossen, doch im nächsten Video kommt eine in meinen Augen noch 'coolere' Stadt.

Penang government staff evacuated from Komtar after fire alarm goes off
A fire believed to have started on the third floor of Komtar had forced an immediate evacuation, after the fire went off on Friday afternoon.
Staff members of government agencies at Komtar were evacuated after the fire alarm went off at around 2.45pm on Friday, including Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

La Menara Komtar Complex est la sixième haute gratte-ciel en Malaisie. La tour mesure 232 m pour 65 étages.
Komtar Tower, or Menara Komtar Complex is Penang's tallest building and the sixth tallest building in Malaysia located in the heart of George Town, dominating the island's skyline. KOMTAR is an acronym for Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak. When the skyscraper topped out it was the second tallest building in Asia after Sunshine 60 in Tokyo. Komtar was still Malaysia's tallest building for 3 years before it was surpassed by Menara Maybank in Kuala Lumpur in 1988. Komtar is a multipurpose complex consisting of retail outlets, transportation hub and administrative offices for the Penang State Government. An acronym for Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak, KOMTAR was named after Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, the second prime minister of Malaysia, who officiated in the piling of Phase 1 on 1 January 1974. It bears the same name as Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak in Johor Bahru, built about the same time but on a smaller scale. The Johor Bahru KOMTAR only has 25 storeys.

Went on a heritage walk around George Town. It's fun, had information about town that I didn't know about. But of course this does go with my documentary about pedestrian safety or what lacks in pedestrian safety. This is what people who have no regards for pedestrian safety is putting the tourists through.

While staying at Cheong Fatt Tze, The Blue Mansion (review launching in a few days!) I discovered this little gem of a restaurant only two blocks from my heritage hotel. Tucked into it's own courtyard, in a refurbished 200 year old building that was once stables, lies Georgetown Wines. They have their own wine cellar and guests are asked to select their own bottle of wine within it as they don't have a wine menu. It's quite fun! I enjoyed local, fresh clams and braised beef and a wonderful bottle of Altos de Tamaron from the Ribera Del Duero region in Spain, which I love.

Three dead, 12 missing in Penang landslide
Three people were killed while 12 others have gone missing after a landslide took place at a construction zone in Bukit Kukus in Paya Terubong, Penang on Friday.
The first body was recovered at 3.40pm.
The search-and-rescue operation initiated by the Fire and Rescue Department is still ongoing while survivors have been sent to the hospital.

The Top - Highest Iconic Entertainment Tower in Penang Malaysia, Komtar
Hi semua, ini adalah video pertama kami selama perjalanan liburan keluarga di Malaysia. Mulainya di Penang, dan tempat pertama yang dikunjungi adalah The Top Tower. Tempatnya cukup kuno kalau dilihat dari luar, tapi dalamnya cukup wah dan modern. Banyak permainan untuk anak-anak dalam gedung ini, juga untuk seluruh anggota keluarga. Tonton sampai habis ya guys.
The first place we visited in Penang was The TOP building. Located near the heart of the city made it was easy to reach. We took Grab from our apartment and only paid for RM 8. The attractions are built inside Komtar, so it took us nearly a whole day to finish. Great place, fun for children, but not many restaurants inside. The food was also a bit pricey. There are some famous actor candle statue displayed in this building, named a few are Jacky Chan, Vin Diesel, Captain America, and Mr. Bean.
Penang First Mega Food Carnival 2009
The purpose of the Mega Food Carnival is for Fund Raising in aid of the new Multi-Purpose Ministry Complex (MMC) situated on the Jelutong Expressway, Penang, Malaysia.
Penang First Assembly Of God is targeting to raise about RM500,000 from this Mega Food Carnival. The building will be used to reach out to the youths, the handicapped, the poor and the needy.
The church is raising funds to put up the building which can seat about 2000 people, and includes children ministry, youth ministry, hospital ministry, Bible Study and other Christian ministries.
RM20 million in total is required to put up the building.
