Mornington Peninsula
The Mornington Peninsula, on the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay, feels like an island with a vast ocean to the south and bays and sheltered beaches on either side. Fertile hills roll down to pretty beaches or harbours and serene bay views abound.
Some of Australia's best sandy beaches can be found here and every kind of water activity is available, from sailing and surfing to fishing and dolphin swims. There are also majestic coastal walks past dunes, beaches, cliffs and lighthouses. On the bay side of the peninsula, visit stylish Sorrento with its fine 19th century buildings and excellent eateries, boutiques and galleries. Stop off at Mornington and enjoy its cosmopolitan sidewalk cafes and picturesque harbour. On the other side of the peninsula visit the charming fishing hamlet of Flinders and take a trip to nearby Cape Schanck where you can enjoy superb views of Bass Strait.
Alternatively head inland and explore the abundance of vineyards and orchards tucked away among the rolling hills of Red Hill and Main Ridge. Wineries and restaurants overlook the blue waters of Port Phillip Bay to the west and Western Port Bay to the east and the peninsula's orchards sell fresh produce direct from the farmgate.
For anybody who has ever teed up, the Mornington Peninsula is golfing heaven. Take on the daunting Moonah Links, specifically designed for the prestigious Australian Open, or head to The Dunes, a Scottish-style links layout rated as one of the top 15 courses in Australia.
The region is also noted for its historic homes and gardens and has been a retreat for artists for more than a century. Visit some of the excellent galleries and craft markets at towns such as Red Hill and Mornington.

Merricks General Wine Store - Mornington Peninsula Victoria Australia
Not your average wine review - we prefer to engage in a chat with the crafters themselves. Their story is way more interesting anyhow. Wine is emergent - buy it and try it #drinkwine
Merricks General Wine Store is located about 1 hour from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. We road test 3 wines here at Merricks General Wine Store. Ian the cellar door guy has lived and worked in several Mornington Peninsula vineyards over the years. He is a true scholar of the game with extensive knowledge of both production and tasting. Definitely a good dude to talk to! Merricks General Wine Store is the shopfront of 2 Peninsula vineyards. Bailieu and Elgee Park. Merricks General Wine Store also feature a local showcase of fellow wine crafters on heavy rotation. Their cafe and restaurant ensures the place is busy busy for breakfast and lunch every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
The Wine List:
1 - Bailieu | Pinot Gris 2016
2 - Elgee Park | Pinot Noir 2015

Daytripping on Mornington Peninsula to Glassblowers, Arthur’s Seat & Diggers Club Nursery
Filmed October 20, 2019.
Took a road trip down the Mornington Peninsula on some very scenic roads to Gordon Studio Glass blowers in Red Hill. There you will find a fully functional studio with an art gallery attached. Filming is not allowed in there so I could only show you a quick glimpse.
It’s not the place to take dogs or young children for the record. I wouldn’t take George Constanza either if he was wearing that puffy jacket. You are likely to break something & it will cost you.
$8000 for a lamp in some cases.
It didn’t even do the dishes.
Next stop was Arthur’s Seat & it’s usually jam packed with tourist & this crappy cloudy day with a lousy view across the bay was no different, it’s usually a very spectacular view on a clear day.
Third stop saw us visit Diggers Club Nursery where you can pay $10 per person to enter the gardens & stroll at your own pace. We didn’t have $10 or the will to stroll down a massive hill so we just browsed the nursery.
It was a really nice day out & we didn’t spend a single cent because I went with my husband the Scrooge.
Good thing I packed snacks coz he doesn’t like stopping at Maccas drive thru.
Music is called Cinematic & Inspiring Background music for video & is available on YouTube here...

Photographing Bunny Rock!!!
Affectionately known as Bunny Rock to the locals, it does, indeed, look like a bunny! With a beautiful Winters evening spare, I thought it about time to revisit some local Mornington Peninsula spots, with Montforts Beach the location of choice.
It's a stunning location with plenty of large rock formations to photograph, as well as stretches of pristine beaches and tall cliffs - as you'll see in the background of one of the clips, there's also massive ocean sprays to capture too, but we'll save that for another trip :)
It was so nice to hear the waves crashing and to smell the salt air again. I hope you enjoy the vid! Cheers for the support guys, don't forget to subscribe to the channel, and I'll catch you later :) :)

The McLaren Vale - Wine Region of South Australia - E22
This week we head to one of the famous wine regions in South Australia - the McLaren Vale.
After our scenic drive from Adelaide, our first stop is the d'Arenberg Cube. This place is more than just a cellar door - you are greeted by a very weird and wonderful art gallery.
We then venture about 200 metres down the road to Swell Brewery and meet a few subscribers. They give us a few tips of places to visit next so we head on our way to Samuels Gorge Winery.
From here we head to Port Willunga to have an afternoon exploring the beach caves there and take afternoon dip in the ocean.
Again guys thank you for watching, as mentioned don't forget to check out our social accounts - we post a lot of photos on instagram and these are more up to date of where we currently are
