Travelling tipis-tipis kali ini mau mengajak kalian jalan-jalan santai di sebuah taman yang sangat besar di tengah-tengah kota Kuala Lumpur. Namanya adalah Perdana Botanical Garden.
Taman ini juga mempunyai nama Taman Tasik Perdana atau juga Perdana Lake Garden karena di dalam taman ini ada danau buatannya juga.
Perdana Botanical Garden ini terletak di area Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park dan dekat dengan monumen nasional Malaysia.

Sebuah taman tasik di tengah bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. Dulu dikenali dengan nama Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Gardens). Bermula dengan tempat rekreasi, kini di tanam dengan pelbagai jenis tumbuh-tumbuhan. Mungkin sebab itu ia kini dikenali dengan nama Taman Botani Perdana. Salah satu tempat kehijauan terbaik untuk aktiviti santai dan riadah di Kuala Lumpur.
Perdana Botanical Garden (Taman Perdana) Complete Tour in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
Perdena Botanical Garden (also called Lake Gardens) is a huge public garden with a lake inside. There are many sections in it such as deer park, bamboo house, lakes, statues and many interesting structures. Entry is free to the garden. As it is very big walking may take whole day. There are some vehicles which can take you from one point to another (3-4 points) for 10 ringits (1 ringit=17 rupees) per head. After dropping us at a point the vehicle was was moving forward. We had to catch the next vehicle coming at 15-20 minutes interval. More details of our garden visit is there in my youtube video.
Bamboo Playhouse in Perdena Botanical Garden, Kuala Lumpur. Bamboo playhouse is built near the lake, designed by Malaysian architect Elina Jamil. The playhouse is elevated above the ground and has a staggered floor made up of 31 separate decks. Each deck is surrounded by a fence and shaded by a bamboo parasol on a tree-like column.
We first visited Taman Rusa or Deer Park inside Perdana Botanical garden. We could not see any deer, however, the place was nice with some chickens. Then we visited Hibiscus garden and orchid garden. The place was interesting. We saw a komodo dragon there walking in open which was quite scary.

On our first day in Kuala Lumpur, we did a whole bunch of the must-see stuff (if you haven't already seen that video, here it is ⇢ ) so on our second day we decided to relax a bit and visit the Perdana Botanical Gardens – yet another free thing to do in Kuala Lumpur.
Being on a budget in Kuala Lumpur was way easier than we thought it was going to be, and we had another great day. It did start raining about 2 in the afternoon, and it rained like crazy for many hours. We wanted to see the national mosque but didn't get around to doing that because of the weather. Instead, we went to a small instafamous café in Chinatown called Merchant's Lane Café. The food was ... well, not something we'd recommend, but the decor was stunning and soooo picture perfect.
I hope our videos from the capital of Malaysia has given you an idea of what to do in Kuala Lumpur if you're also visiting for a few days or have a long layover in the city.

The Lake Garden's opening in May 1975 was officiated by the second Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Haji Abdul Razak Hussein. Extending over 92 hectares of land, the Lake Gardens houses various parks and gardens. As of today, there are five other gardens and parks which are open to the public daily. They include the Orchid Garden which is filled with over 800 species of orchids. At the Orchid Garden, visitors may take as many pictures as they like and they can even buy a few pots of orchid home. The other garden is the Hibiscus Garden where our national flower grows in abundance.

In this episode the vlogger is supposed to go to a restaurant. Upon finding that the restaurant was closed, he went across the road to the KL Perdana Botanical Garden KUALA LUMPUR instead, to vlog for a bit. He did not do much vlogging over there because his Huawei P10 Plus was soon running out of battery.
*Its free entry to the garden. But if you are planning to visit, its best to take a taxi to the garden since its a bit far to get there by walking from the city centre.
