Pink Mosque of Malaysia | Putra Jaya

Facing the scenic Putrajaya Lake, the Putra Mosque is arguably Putrajaya's most distinctive landmark and one of the most modern mosques in the world. A showcase of how mosque designs have evolved in Malaysia, Putra Mosque's Islamic-architecture artistically blends traditional designs, local craftsmanship and the use of indigenous materials. The mosque is modeled after Persian Islamic architecture of the Safavid period with elements derived from other Muslim cultures. Incorporating Malaysian, Persian and Arab-Islamic architectural designs, the main entrance to the mosque is fashioned in the likeness of public building gates in Muslim Persia.

Putra Mosque in Putrajaya - Malaysia

Putra Mosque, or Masjid Putra in Malay language, is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister’s office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states’ flags.;

Sebenarnya masih banyak yang bisa di explore dari Putrajaya. Namun karena keterbatasan waktu hanya ini yang dapat The City Hunter sajikan. Putrajaya adalah pusat administrasi Malaysia yang menggantikan posisi Kuala Lumpur. Didirikan pada 19 Oktober 1995, namanya diambil dari nama Perdana Menteri Malaysia yang pertama, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra dan juga menjadi wilayah persekutuan Malaysia yang ketiga (2 wilayah lainnya adalah Kuala Lumpur dan Labuan).
Wilayah Putrajaya sekarang ini diambil dari Selangor sebesar 46 km² setelah dilakukan transaksi dengan pemerintah. Selain itu, transaksi ini juga membuat Selangor memiliki 2 buah wilayah persekutuan dalam batas-batasnya yaitu Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya.
Kota ini terhubung dengan Bandara Internasional Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) serta Kuala Lumpur dengan KLIA Transit. Letaknya ini juga berada dalam Multimedia Super Corridor, begitu juga dengan Cyberjaya yang terletak di barat Putrajaya.

Putrajaya Drone Flight: Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya (Malay: Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya), is a planned city and the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former. Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysias national capital and is the seat of the King, the Parliament, and all the foreign embassies, and the countrys commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the idea of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. It became Malaysias third Federal Territory, after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, in 2001. // Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. Its known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime ministers office complex. Putrajaya an Intelligent Garden City and the federal administrative capital of Malaysia, is a showcase city under construction some 30 km south of the capital Kuala Lumpur.

Perdana Putra Perdana Putra houses the main administrative offices of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers and Deputy Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department, Chief Secretary to the Government as well as the Special Units. It features striking green domes and its main block is decorated with stone carvings and wrought iron with motifs of the bunga raya or hibiscus, the national flower. A combination of islamic and Mogul architecture, this majestic structure overlooks the picturesque Lake Putrajaya.

The stately Putra Mosque is one of Putrajaya's most famous landmarks. It has a unique pink dome which is constructed from rose-tinted granite and comprises of a prayer hall, the sahn or courtyard, learming facilities and function rooms. The mosque accommodates 15,000 worshippers and boasts a 116-metre, five-tiered minaret, the tallest in the region.

Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). The design of the convention centre was inspired the traditional pending perak (silver royal belt buckle) and wau bulan (moon kite). It covers a total floor area of about 135,000m2 over nine levels and its Plenary Hall can accommodate approximately 3,000 delegates. Equipped with modern facilities, it has all the required facilities to host international and regional conventions, exhibitions and private functions.

The 300-metre circular Dataran Putra has concentric stars representing the states of Malaysia and is adorned with light and water features. The highlight here is the Chahar Baghs or the recreation of Eden with its four quadrants and four rivers. Serving as a unique transition between the ceremonial area and the parks, the Chahar Baghs is a carefully arranged interplay of paths, water channels, trees and flowerbeds.

When fully completed, eight unique and distinctive bridges featuring six varieties of designs-beam, arch, suspension, cable-stayed, truss and cantilever-will link the various precincts in Putrajaya. Bridges which connect to the Goverrnment Precinct serve ceremonial purposes and are decorated with regalia, flags and lighting during official state functions. Among the seven bridges which have been completed are the Putra Bridge, Seri Wawasan Bridge, Seri Gemilang Bridge, Seri Bakti Bridge, Seri Saujana Bridge, Seri Setia Bridge and Seri Bestari Bridge.
