Up to 10 homes have reportedly been destroyed in a bushfire at Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast.
The fire is burning at an emergency level and is travelling in a north-westerly direction.

Take in views to the coast and mountains from nearby Emu Mountain which can be reached via a moderately easy rocky walking path from Havana Road at Peregian Beach.
Located 15 minutes drive from Noosa Heads, Peregian is at the southern end of Noosa's coastline.

Relieved residents have returned to their homes at Peregian Beach where out-of-control bushfires ripped through the suburb on Monday night.

Peregian Beach Fire The Result
Well, once the emergency was over and we were allowed back into our homes after the brilliant effort of the Firefighters, I put the drone up for a quick look at the aftermath of this Tragedy.
So much of the forest is gone, so much of the wildlife is also gone. Areas that were virtually impossible to walk through are gone. The burnt scolding mess which has been left behind as a result of a 15 year old Girl from Coolum and a 14 year Old boy from Peregian Springs being arrested for starting these fires.
It will bounce back, with rains and care, but the wildlife will take a very long while to return.
I wont say enjoy the clip as there is nothing to enjoy about it.
Further 10 homes destroyed on Sunshine Coast
The Courier-Mail is reporting that 10 more homes have been destroyed by fire at Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast, in addition to the 47 announced by the fire commissioner on Monday afternoon.
