We went to the Perth Observatory in hopes of seeing the Milky Way, unfortunately for us we couldn't see the Milky Way due to the weather conditions (cloudy and rainy), but we did go for a tour to see some of the telescopes. If the audio is bad, it is because we used a go pro.
Emma: I look so bad don't mind my face, I didn't know good angles and I was really tired.

The View From Here #24: Nerve Quakes
RTRFM's long running video series The View From Here returns in 2018 with a set of WA bands playing their music in unique WA locations.
This time around we head deep into the Perth hills to bring you post-punk masters Nerve Quakes in the surrounds of one of Australia's oldest workings scientific hubs, the Perth Observatory.
Nerve Quakes, comprised of Charlotte Thorne (Bass), Catie MacDonald (Vocals), Caleb Merry (Guitar), Ollie Francis (Drums) and Heather Jenkins (Keys/ Synth), run through four tunes including two brand new tunes (Running & Rewind), set for release on a split single next month.
There is something ethereal hearing and seeing Nerve Quakes in a the calm and relaxed setting of the Perth hills surrounded by an array of star gazing instruments that spend their days looking to the heavens.
