Peru Adventure in the Andes
An incredible trip to the Peruvian Andes with our friends Jesse and Kim! We traveled to the northern Ancash region and stayed in the city of Huaraz with the goal of climbing a peak in the Cordillera Blanca. We acclimatized on the Santa Cruz trek and climbed in the Ishinca valley. Our first time in South America was an all around fantastic trip! Also, kinda a dog video.
Hiking in Peruvian Andes | Cordillera Blanca 2017
This video is about an epic journey of three friends around spectacular views of Peru mountains in Cordillera Blanca. We spent the first two weeks traveling around the stunning Andes doing many unforgettable adventures and life experiences.
At first, we went to the amazing Santa Cruz trek, which has been voted one of the best treks in the world. We did the trek without a guide and we can recommend it to anyone who wants to save money and plan their own schedule.
After Santa Cruz Trek we took a guided five day climbing trip, where we climbed to Urus (5420m) summit.
After the mountains we went to the jungle, which is coming on the second part of the video.
So stay tuned!
Peru 2018 Huascaran - Huaraz
Our journey departed in Malta, towards Peru. A beautiful country, with beautiful people, scenery and culture.
Huaraz is a city in Peru's northern Callejón de Huaylas valley. Capital of the Ancash Region, the city sits more than 3,000 meters above sea level, with the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Blanca range forming its dramatic eastern skyline. Encompassing much of the Cordillera Blanca is Huarascán National Park, home to Andean condors and jaguars as well as Peru's tallest mountain, Huarascán.

Peruvian Andes: Climbing and Other Nonsense
20 minute video of an amazing five-week climbing trip in the Cordillera Blanca (summer 2011). My wife and I climbed Ishinca, Shaqsha, and Ranrapalca (North Face), and we climbed Vallunaraju, Pisco, and Chopicalqui with friends Matt Ellis and Kelsey McFarland. I first produced a version with what turned out to be copyrighted music, but made sure the music rights for this remixed version were all kosher. Enjoy!
