On a recent trip down to the south coast of South Australia (our Honeymoon actually) Karen and I stopped into the Saint Mary MacKillop visitor centre and St Joseph Church.
This Church is on the original site where Father Julian Tenison Woods founded the first Penola Church. It is a beautiful Church that contains an area where one can pray for St Mary to intercede for them with Jesus and God.

FunSearch was very lucky to be hosted by Royal Oak Hotel Penola in South Australia, during the January School Holidays break.

With very comfortable accommodation that includes a wide verandah with sweeping views of the township, rooms boasting large cozy four poster beds and complimentary breakfast, and a fantastic bar and restaurant with lovely smiling staff, we happily spent a few days in region from this central spot.

With so much of the Limestone Coast to explore, Penola is an excellent place to be based while you immerse yourself in all this region has to offer.

If you are looking for things to do, places to stay and places to see on the Limestone Coast you'll be in a great spot and in very good hands here.
