The ONLY Aerospace museum in the Philippines! | FIRST TIME TOUR !!!
We visited the ONLY Aerospace museum in the Philippines, located in the compound of the Villamor Air Base, Philippine Air Force Headquarters in the City of Pasay.
Showcasing artifacts used by PAF, this gallery is a great place for those interested in learning more about the culture and history of Philippine’s Air Force. An outdoor aircraft park displaying commercial planes, Air Force planes as well as helicopters are outside the building for visitors to explore.
Guided by Sgt. Alvin Alcaba Zuniga, our well-knowledgeable tour guide ????✌️ This is our first time to visit this historical place. ✈️????

Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum 2019
The Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum is a military museum of the AFP that was earlier founded as Marcos Museum on May 02, 1974. This world-class facility of the PAF is a heritage and a science and technology museum built to honor heroes and airmen of the PAF. The museum displays Philippine military aviation history and related aerospace science exhibits.
The Heritage Section presents a variety of galleries reminiscent of weapons, uniforms, dioramas, miniatures, memorabilia, photos and arts of early military aviation and the Philippine Air Force organization.
The Science and Technology Section exhibits aircraft mock-ups and miniatures, indoor static aircrafts of various eras as well as some PAF experimental projects presented in ways to inspire young generation of Filipinos to learn on aerospace related sciences.
The Museum's Art Corner shows skillful drawings and paintings that portrays PAF history and its various roles to the Filipino nation.
The Aircraft Park is an aicraft-themed park that displays historic PAF aircrafts as well as a venue for photography activities.

SRF232: PHILIPPINE AIRFORCE MUSEUM
A visit was made to the 'Philippine Airforce Museum' at Villamor Airbase in Manila back just before new years.
Has been around a decade since my last visit and the museum is beginning to look a bit run down and tired. The shop/cafe was not open, what I think was a small movie room was also out of action.
The staff were all huddled in a room, somewhat disinterested, and the only conversation had was a security guard who tried to tell me that I could not wear thongs (the footwear version) in there.
After suggesting that the museum had more issues than my choice of footwear, he too disappeared into the office where a number of people seemed busy doing who knows what.
So much potential in that museum. A great museum building and a truly terrific collection. It is a shame what it has been allowed to come.
