John Prince Park Campground
Gypsy Rubber Tramps enjoyed this campground and show you some of their favorite places to visit while staying there.
For several years now I have had the urge to travel which has been a dream of mine before marriage and children. My husband was never keen on the idea until one afternoon in 2017 he said, let's do this! The next day I began to sell, donate and give away items from my home. He was a bit shocked when he got home from work. I immediately called a realtor and our home sold within 24 hours for more than we were asking. I had sold, donated and given away EVERYTHING so that the day we moved we didn't even need a truck because we were able to drive away with everything we had left in both our vehicles. We moved to a smaller place directly across from the beach to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets for the following year before taking off to travel the world! We have now been traveling now 9 months and my husband said he can't imagine doing anything else because he is having the time of his life!!!!

The premier saltwater fishing spot on Florida's east coast, this park is a favorite for anglers nationwide for catching snook, redfish, bluefish, and Spanish mackerel from its jetties. Surfing is also a popular recreation and several major competitions are held here every year. Two museums provide a history of the area. The McLarty Treasure Museum features the history of the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet; the Sebastian Fishing Museum tells the history of the area's fishing industry.
Three miles of beautiful beaches provide opportunities for swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, shelling, and sunbathing. Canoeing and kayaking in the Indian River Lagoon are also favorite pastimes. Visitors can relax with a stroll down the mile-long Hammock Trail. Waterfront pavilions and picnic areas are great for family outings. Full-facility campsites and a boat ramp are available. Located on State Road A1A 15 miles south of Melbourne Beach.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. We stayed here previously eight months prior and throughly enjoyed it. The same was true this time. There is a lot to see and do in the area. We have made some friends that live in one of the neighborhoods near the campground so we look forward to seeing them when we stay here.

We are Steve and Lucy traveling around North America in an RV. After spending the past 35 years traveling the world on someone else dime, we decided it was time to get off the airplanes, out of the hotel rooms, slow down and see America. These videos document that journey. :

| Not a Clue Adventures | Sunset from Shell Island | Crystal River, Florida
It's just a short 20 min boat ride from Twin Rivers Marina to Shell Island at the mouth of Crystal River. A beautiful oyster shell beach (wear shoes) and beautiful views of the sunset - watch out for low tide boating, high tide covers a large portion of the beach, and there is lots of poison ivy inland! Great camping and sunset spot!
