Cambodia Trip to Phnom Dar Temple & Resort at Takeo Province
We traveled on National Road 2 from Phnom Penh to Angkor Borei District in Takeo Province for about 2 hrs as we stop for pee pee along the road and we got to Phnom Dar Temple at Angkor Borey District was about 11:25am. It was about 80km from Phnom Penh to Angkor Borei District in Takeo Province. We had a break for Lunch nearby Dar Mountain, had a short break and continue to see the temples by foot. This temple were built in Angkor Era at the 6th and 7th century. People like to visit there on the weekend and on the big days like Khmer New Year or Pchum Ben Festival. It was tired but we had a good time there.

Phnom Da Temple at Angkor Borey District in Takeo Province
A temple at Southern part of Cambodia at Angkor Borey District in Takeo Province. It's Da Mountain Temple or Prasat Phnom Da. The temple were built on a hill top of Da Mountain (Phnom Da) where we can see a nice view of paddy field and beautiful scenery of Angkor Borey District, Takeo Province. We went there with our friends and family on Sunday in January 2016. People like to go there on Khmer New Year or Pchum Ben Festival.

If we travel from Phnom Penh city along National Road No.2 and turn left on National Road 203, then turn right to Angkor Borei road heading to Prasat Phnom Dar will take around 2hrs for traveling by car or we can travel on National Road No.1 from Takhmao Town heading to Saang district and turn right to Prey Kabas district and turn left on Angkor Borey road heading to Phnom Dar temple will take around 2hours as well. The distance from Phnom Penh to Phnom Dar Temple is around 102Km. If you already reached Krong Takeo (Takeo Downtown), you can take a boat along the canal 15 to Angkor Borey district and take a walk to the temple. In this video, we just left Angkor Borei National Museum heading to Wat Kamnou temple which is a land of ancient temple Nokor Kork Thalork. After visited Wat Kamnou, we headed off to Prasat Phnom Dar but we checked out Asrom Moha Russei temple first. We're lucky to have a local tourism officer telling us story about the temples. After visited Moha Russei temple, we walked on the hill to a mountain cave and walked up to Dar Mountain temple on the hilltop. I flew my drone up in the sky to see the temple from above and great view of the fields around the mountain. The fields around the mountain flooded six months every year so people can reach the temple by boat during rainy season. Prasat Phnom Dar or Dar Mountain temple's built on the hilltop during the 6th century by Rutra Varaman King during the Norkor Phnom period. From our tourism officer, the temple size is 12 square-meters and 18 meters high. It was constructed of laterite, brick and sandstone. Prasat Phnom Dar or Dar Mountain temple is situated on the top of a small hill in Prek Ta Phor village, Kork Thalork commune, Angkor Borei district, Takeo province, Cambodia, Southeast Asia. It's just about 24 kilometers east of Takeo provincial town straight from the water canal (travel by boat). In this video, we used GoPro Hero 5 Black, iPhone 6s & 7s, DJI Phantom 3 Standard.

Travel from Chisor Mountain at Takeo Province back to Phnom Penh City
The last drone shot from above of Chisor Mountain tourism site. We're walking down from the top to the ground. Along the steps down, we talked with local tourists who enjoyed their lunch foods, some people have ice cone with colorful syrup and other snacks. Lots of people still walking up the to of mountain to enjoy their holiday. My wife bought some fruits like mango, pineapples, and other fruits as our snacks on the way home. We travel with Tuk Tuk from Chisor Mountain in Takeo province back to Phnom Penh city. It's a really great day to relax at Chisor Mountain tourism site. We hope to be back again sometime.

Traveling Around Takeo Province
It's a day tour around Takeo Province in Cambodia. This video started from Takeo Downtown, the independence monument while it's raining hard. We're driving out of Takeo town to National Road No.2 then turn right on National Road 203 to Phnom Chiso, keeping on the right to Angkor Borei Road heading to Phnom Dar temple at Angkor Borei district. We visit a small ancient temple and gave some books to children living hear the temple. We left Phnom Dar temple to Phnom Borei (Angkor Borei mountain) and travel around the mountain. We left Angkor Borei district on Angkor Borei road then continued on National Road No.203 to Saang District. We bought Lmut fruits (Sapodilla) along the way for our loves at home. It's a really great trip on the royal ploughing ceremony during May 2019.
