Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.

This Video covers some of the best places to visit in Munnar, Kerala, South India. This is a perfect Hill station in India. Temperature is low in night, but normal during day time. Spice Garden, Echo Point, Top Station, Flower Show, Rose Garden, Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, Mattupetti Dam are some of the places to visit here. Photo Point is definitely the best. Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above sea level, in the Western Ghats range of mountains.
The nearest major railway stations are at Ernakulam and Aluva (approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) by road).and nearest major airport is Kochi.
