PHOTO GOALS in Casablanca, Morocco | Marggie Travels
On our third stop for the cruise, we arrived in Casablanca, Morocco. You know those instagram photos you just see with the amazing door silhouette and today in Morocco I finally got to achieve that photo goal! Watch my amazing but long day in Morocco, starting off in Casablanca, where we visited the Hassan II Mosque which everything was made by hand, from the ceiling, tiles and the mosaics.
Btw, we went on a tour/excursion from the cruise just so that our lives are a lot easier and safer in Morocco. Prices are quite pricey but it is a lot better than going around on your own.

Our travel photography workshop in Morocco was a great success if I do say so myself. We had an absolutely brilliant time in the country, and I think the participants got a lot out of the photo adventure. Morocco is just such a diverse country with so much to offer. We were on the coast, in ancient cities, in snowy mountains, and the Sahara Desert. I shot a ton of photography in the 2 weeks, and I'm sure the participants got some beautiful images as well. We had a fantastic group of photographers in Morocco, and I'm happy to say that I feel like our little community of travel photographers is growing a little bit more each day.

Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco
The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.
Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

MOROCCO PART 1: EXPLORING CASABLANCA - reed stark safari
James Dean and I bought one way flights to Africa and saw some crazy shit. Donkeys eating out of trash cans, camels roaming the desert, Ramadan, octopus sandwiches, BMX, and then some. This is just the start of our adventure. More soon.
Featuring Ayoub, James Dean, Reed Stark

CASABLANCA MOROCCO CITY TOUR - Travel Vlog
We are in Casablanca, the city known for the classic film Casablanca which just celebrated its 75th anniversary. The city is the most populous in Morocco located along the coast, known for having one of the largest mosques in the world, French influence, and faded grandeur. Here's looking at you kid!
First stop is the beach. Casablanca is a port city with many beach clubs along the ocean bluff. On the day we visited, it was raining - the first rain since May.
Next stop is Hassan II Mosque, the tallest minaret mosque and one of the top places to take photos. The mosque holds 25,000 people and the entire complex holds over 100,000 total. It is a popular pilgrimage site during Ramadan. We tour the mosque, including the wash room where it is the Islamic tradition to wash your hands and feet before prayer.
Next we tour the city and check into our Hotel - the Kenzi Basma.

Next, we take an adventurous walk across the street to the Sky 28 - the perfect view of the city.

Morocco Road Trip | Essaouira, Casablanca & Rabat
Our road trip through Morocco has begun as we eave Marrakesh and make our way towards some of the coastal towns of this beautiful country.
First up we had a few more spots to see in Marrakesh with our first ever visit in the incredible Bahia Palace - honestly designing our future house after the Moroccan architects.
Our first stop is the coastal town of Essaouira, where we got to see the medina and a quick stop into the blue boat fishing village.
In the morning we made our way to Casablanca to see one of the most jaw dropping Mosques in the world - the Hassan II Mosque.
Final stop is the capital city of Rabat and it's unlike any town we have ever seen in Morocco so far.

Through the Lens | Photo Education in Rural Morocco
In collaboration with local organizations, we held a 3 day youth-focused photography workshop, facilitated by a couple Peace Corps volunteers, Prints For Prints, a team of Moroccan photographers, and a few local counterparts. The workshop was held in a Peace Corps site located near the Middle Atlas mountains, from February 7th until February 9th.
The workshop entailed classroom presentations serving to introduce various aspects of the photographic medium from photojournalism to product photography, hands-on lessons on fundamental photographic concepts, and a day trip/photo excursion to a mountain-side village.

Casablanca City Tour l Morocco Street and Life【HD Travel】???????? ????
Casablanca is Morocco’s most cosmopolitan city and its economic anchor. Settled by the Berbers and successively inhabited by the Phoenicians, Romans, Portuguese and French, the dynamic port fully embraces its cultural diversity. The result is a mix of whitewashed medinas and Art Deco landmarks, long-standing souks (markets) and edgy galleries, which together reflect the buzzing face of modern Morocco.
