Darwin Adventure Holiday! What You Must Do!
This is a small edit of our adventure up to Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Our list of things we did are:
Traveled from Sydney to Darwin
Caught a taxi to the Melaluca Backpackers in the heart of the town
Walked down through the town mall to the man-made lagoon
Rented bikes and rode the along the water bike trail out to the Darwin Military Museum
The rode back via the Qantas museum
Then ended back at our hostel at the pool bar
We walked back through the town and out to the pier and took an afternoon dinner boat cruise
Go see Darwin!!! here's a tip: Don't go to crocodylus zoo or to crocosaurus cove these are terrible attractions! take a tour through Kakudu and you will safely see all the best wildlife of the top end in their natural environment! all crocodiles in this video will be killed and sold as leather ????

Gunlom Falls ????- part of the Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory Australia
Travel to the Northern Territory most unique waterfall and endless plunge pool - Gunlom Falls. What a great day! Gunlom Falls is located in the Kakadu National Park, around 330 k from Darwin -and it was well worth the trip. While you are there make sure you enjoy the amazing Gunlom Falls infinity pool - its been carved out by nature over thousands of years. Gunlom Falls infinity pool is located at the top of the falls and is a challenging hike, but can be easily done. Once you get to the top the views are amazing and the water cool (temperature hit 37 deg when we were there) inside the infinity pool. Pack your picnic and eat on site (make sure you take your rubbish with you).
For a bit of fun we sent up the Phantom 3 Standard drone to truly capture the scenery - WOW!
We did try to get to Jim Jim falls but we ran out of time.
We also stopped at the entrance to the Kakadu National Park for a photo with the welcome sign - that was something we will treasure (we even snuck in a timelapse video as the sun was setting).
Dont just be an armchairtraveller. There is lots to do in the Top End of Australia so visit tourism Australia for more.
