What a great trip we had with 3 generations of family members accompanying us. Children, parents and nanny all enjoyed this fantastic day identifying the different plants and flowers. From a pedagogical perspective we chose this trip in support of our own permaculture garden research, and to show the children the many different styles of gardens from around the world.

It's time for Hong Kong Part 4! We toured the beautiful Nan Lian Garden, then visited the Wan Chai Computer Centre - the best place to go for electronics in Hong Kong. That night, we headed to Sugar rooftop bar at the East Hotel. This is hands down the best rooftop bar in Hong Kong.

Laem Ka beach is a quiet and family friendly beach in Rawai. It is famous for the quiet sea during low season when west cost beaches of Phuket are wavy and not safe for families with kids.
One of the most beautiful beaches of Rawai – Laem Ka Beach. It is located on the east side which is more quiet through the year.
Rawai is the best destination for families with kids with developed infrastructure, beaches, viewpoints, signseeings, restaurants, kids park and family resorts.
When you're coming to Rawai Laem Ka is the must see in Phuket. You will need a car to reach the place.

Best Sunrise In Udon Thani, Thailand. (Red Lotus Lake)
One of the highlights of visiting Udon Thani province in northeastern Thailand is the so-called “Red Lotus Sea” or Talay Bua Daeng (ทะเลบัวแดง) in Thai. Really it is a lake and not a sea. Also, they are pink water-lilies and not red lotuses. But, regardless of these small details, it is an amazing sight that can be enjoyed during the cool season from late November until early March. The best time of day to visit is during the morning, the earlier the better when the water lilies are in full bloom. The best month is said to be in January when the lilies cover a much larger area. I went there recently at the end of November and was quite impressed with the amount of flowers. The weather was certainly perfect with a lovely cool breeze.
