Trekking in Myanmar (Burma) - Namhsan to HsipawTrek.
Another great trek. After a very dusty 5 hour jeep ride from Hsipaw, we arrived in the very interesting mountain town of Namhsan. We spent a couple of nights here before starting our 60km trek back to Hsipaw. Usually the trek takes 3 days, but we decided to do it in 2 which meant walking the last 3 hours back to town in the dark. A highlight of our trek was spending a night in a monastery.
The music is by Khan Khan with a song called DiDa made famous by the tv show Beijing Love Story.

In the dry and arid central region of Myanmar, water for drinking and farming is scarce. Village communities eke out a living growing peanuts and sesame, walking or using bullock carts over long distances to get water for their homes and farms. Climate risks are worsening the situation as dry seasons get longer and more intense; most young people are migrating to the cities.

A wonderful and meaningful three weeks of visiting Myanmar on October 12 to November 1, 2012. Praise be to God!
Why do I decide to start to create vlogs? Why Myanmar?
We are exploring outside. We don't know what are the things inside. This idea pushed me to start exploring my country, MYANMAR. I studied abroad, then worked in very good company for 2 years and everything was great. However, I felt like something is missing in my life and I decided to explore my country for 2 years.
One of my foreigner friends told me that traveling to the different states of Myanmar feels like traveling to different countries. Yes, It's true because different regions of Myanmar have different cultures, different traditional dresses, and different ethnic groups. So, I'm sure that exploring Myanmar would be as interesting as exploring the world and I started to create this vlogs.
I'm creating every vlogs by myself. I'm script writer, I'm director, I'm cameraman, and I'm editor. So, there are still having a lot of areas to improve. Thank you very much for your patience on watching this imperfect vlog. I'll try my best to explore and present Myanmar.
