Pibe Mølle was built in 1779 and is located in its original place. It is situated on a hilltop south of Helsinge with the Pøleåen running at the foot of the hill in an meadow. It is Zealand's only stub mill.
Pibe Møllegård, where there was originally a water mill, is located in the road turn south of the hill. Both mills were in use until 1921, when the National Museum took over the wind turbine and it was conserved.
In 1989, the municipality of Helsinge took over Pibe Mølle from the National Museum. It has since gained new wings in 1995 and replaced the large rock bar in 1997. It is displayed as a running mill some Sundays around the year.
