How to get to Punta de Lobos
Artist: Bomba Estéreo
Song: Mar (Lo que siento)
???? Are you wondering how to get to Punta de Lobos from downtown Pichilemu? This video shows some clips from our trip this morning by taking a colectivo at 7:30am.
It's very easy. You can take a colectivo almost anywhere in Pichilemu. There are colectivos stops a few steps from our school, our partner hostel and homestays. They typically start working around 7:30am-8:00am during weekdays. It costs $1,000 CLP one way. Colectivos are different from taxis in Chile. They are black cars (varies in some other cities) and have fixed routes. Taxis are black too, but have a yellow roof. There is also a bus that leaves twice from downtown Pichilemu.
???? You can ask the driver: ¿Va a Punta de Lobos? (Do you go to Punta de Lobos?)
The trip takes between 10-15 minutes from Parque Ross.
Enjoy your trip, the surf and the views in Lobos taking care and respecting the area ????

Juntas de SUP y Surf en Pichilemu | SUP and Surf get-togethers in Pichilemu
This surprise video is for our friends at Mujeres de Pie Pichilemu (@mujeresdepie on Instagram). They started as a group for women who practice Stand Up Paddle, love the ocean and take actions to protect it. It also includes women who surf and our school director María Paz has participated in their recent meetings in Puntilla break. She writes:
Being in the water is already an amazing experience, but it is even better when you feel supported by others outside and in the water. In a surf culture that glorifies only certain aspects of the sport, it can be challenge for some women to get in the water. Spaces that allow women to feel that we belong in the water are just life-changing.
Whether you love SUP, surf or bodyboarding, it is less about what board you use and more about experiencing a true connection with the ocean, your friends and yourself.
Thank you Gloria and everyone in the group for the invitation. I admire your strength and can't thank you enough for all the tips, words of encouragement and happiness that comes from being in the water with you all.

Student testimonial: Michael | Pichilemu Language School
???? Michael came to Pichilemu to learn Spanish, surf and to get to know our community. Watch the video and learn more about his experience which he shares in Spanish! and German, his native language.
⠀
???? Being able to see the progress our student make and to hear they feel part of our community is what makes our work at the school so much more rewarding ✨ We are dedicated to facilitate full immersion experiences, but this could not be possible without the tremendous support of our Spanish teachers, hostel partner, families, friends and the whole community of Pichilemu. You need more than a school to learn a language. We are very grateful for our community ????
Michael vino a Pichilemu a aprender español, surfear y conocer nuestra comunidad.
Thank you Ben!
Thank you Ben for all your work during these months at our school. Your students have some messages for you.
Come back soon!
